- I learned this tip like in 2020 and it completely change my dance covers! i'm thinking on doing more tips like this because when i was a beginner, it's so hard to find dancing tips so i want to help other people!

another tip to make your dance look less awkward: dont try to imitate 1:1 to the dancer if you're copying the choreography. instead, develop your own style and put your personality into your moves.
Maybe I'm late to reply this comment, but i just want to say that this tip is really helpful. We should find our own dance style and use it in every choreo that we learned rather than copying 100% from other ppl. It's okay if you're copying in order to find reference for your own dance style. We always need to improve the movements based on our style, that's why there's some slight difference in the same choreo between the dancers

Bro I don't know a thing about dancing how can I develope my own style I first need to copy someone else in order to incorporate it into my own style
@@aniketsrivastava1870id say copying is fine to some extent, but at some point when dancing feels natural to you, you start to actually feel your authentic dance style.
when you want to do something different in some part of the choreo, or when you just wanna get up and move your body when listening to a different music, or you feel like freestyling.
i always put my unused arm in a t-rex pose and its a habit at this point 😭thanks for this

Actually, what dancers do is think about their subconscious hand or secondary hand, when you learn a move, you then take the time to think about what every other limb is doing which will make it tidier BUT doing this alone won’t make your dance better. You have to actually be doing the dance well and to do that you need to practice and have patience with yourself
For the people who don't know your supposed to grab the part where she put her hand like your supposed to hold on the sheets, its called "attitude" I'm a 5 year professional hiphop dancer and just wanted to share this to aspiring dancers as well, also try to do facial expressions while dancing it gives your dancing more texture and look more cooler

From a pre-pro dancer: it depends! Pretty much the major fact to consider is what the actual choreographer asks you to… Since many have no access to those choreographers there are not many things you can do (maybe you can try to pay attention to some of the best dancers/ main dancers but it ain’t always accurate bc not even they can always, in my personal experience, be the perfect example of what the choreographer wants but, obviously, they tend to be the closest thing to it)!!
you just have to stretch a lil and soften a bit(has helped me a lot for the past 10 years)usually stretch for 20 mins

Yeah but the thing is dont hide your hand for EVERY SINGLE DANCE if you understand like some dances would look PERFECT when you hide your hand/arm but some look weird also when dancing what i like to do is add this tiny special move in the dance so its not exactly coping the dance im not saying coping a dance is a horrible thing im just saying i think for me itd look really cooler or prettier 😁 if you need more tips i give more at 500 likes 😁(also i do dance myself so my tips will be actually useful and not some fake imformation

Wearing baggy clothes actually makes your dancing looks more powerful :D i don't know any science behind this but i do notice a difference!
