Agreed. No way on #2. It’s pretty because of the background buildings, but that background doesn’t even come close to the backgrounds of the other courses, plus the other courses on the list are just plain better. If this was a countdown, I can’t believe you put those 3 other courses in front of Augusta and Cypress.
Wow I was looking at golf course and I put this video on and yea Cypress point came out first I worked there for 7 years and it's a very beautiful golf course
It’s almost impossible to select a top 5 list for the most beautiful golf courses in the world. I think a top 10 or top 20 would be more appropriate, as there are so many outstanding courses in this category. Augusta National & Cypress Point are absolute certainties, but what about Pebble Beach, Shinnecock Hills, Muirfield Village? There are so many courses in Scotland (Loch Lomond in particular), Ireland, England and Wales with pristine natural beauty, not to mention other parts of Europe. In South Africa there is Pinnacle Point, and many others in the Western Cape. Australia also have some stunning courses, so maybe a Top 20 list would be a better compilation. This should be put together by a panel of judges consisting of course architects, golfing greats & personalities.
Truly amazing. Australia is home to 6 of the top 100 courses in the world, and both New Zealand and South Africa chime in with 2 each (Golf Magazine, September 2011). From Royal Melbourne in Australia - home of the recent 2011 Presidents Cup - to the awe-inspiring scenery of Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand, golf Down Under is truly an amazing experience. Play amongst the kangaroos at Barnbougle Dunes in Tasmania in Australia and the giraffes at Leopard Creek Country Club in South Africa!! 👍👌
How can anyone offer an opinion unless they have actually played the course? Can't believe Emirates is number 2 with all that concrete in the background! Number one choice looks pretty good but supect chosen by a native of that fair country.
Would never have put dubai in there
I've played Nefyn. It's amazing. Not sure it's number 1. But I'll take it..

No1 is also a cruel test of your skills too! Beautiful course, I do agree.
Never heard of it but gosh it looks both beautiful and frightening
Yes I worked at Cypress point and it's a very beautiful and amazing golf course ranked 2 in the world

Got to agree. I've played 4 and 2 and I rate Old Head above either of them.

Dubai has to be a joke. Basically a giant bunker with greens placed throughout Honestly. Let alone the worst place of the world to be in.....
