Tip: most of the celery flavor is in the leaves. If it is celery flavor you are after, USE THE LEAVES. I dehydrate the leaves when I get a celery stalk that is bolting, so they can later be used in soups and stews for flavoring when I don't specifically want celery chunks in the dish.
Thank you everyone with all my heart. This is one of the first videos on my channel and even though my other videos weren't as successful, I'm glad you guys STILL enjoy this one. This recipe was my first tryout and it turn out great... a little dry but I still like it :) More videos are coming soon, I have another video almost done, it's in the process of finalization. thanks for the continue support.
+Ralph M Who in the fuck are you kidding? This is shit and you fucking suck! You didn't explain shit! You suck at making a cooking video so don't even bother to make anymore! Please don't make anymore!!!!!!!!
+MADMANMUSICINC Ok, so where's your awesome cooking video at? I thought the video explained itself. I say good on him for taking the time to make the video, the end result looks pretty tasty.
My husband was having a meltdown looking for a recipe that worked, I decided to take over. Your video was the first one I saw--it is so easy and down to earth. In the oven now and I know it will turn out great!
I just did this the very lazy way but I followed your basic suggestions and we LOVED it!! Thank you!! Keep up the good work! Normally I find meat this big and bulky very intimidating
My,,,,,, mouth is watering. I can smell it. Your very humble and soft spoken. I’m sure you are probably Very loved by all who know you. I love the mystery , and the simplicity. No annoying music, just the sound of love and cooking. Perfect!!!!!!!!!!
I really enjoyed this video. Watching you cook with just the accompanying text made it easy to follow. Also, according to measurements taken by Alton Brown, searing increases flavor/texture but actually reduces moisture slightly. Looking forward to seeing more videos!
By accident I brought this pork that look like ham in the inside and it tasted so damn good. I buy it all the time now. I just had to make sure it wasn't duck, horse, deer, etc.
Perfect presentation of a well organized recipe, easy to follow, neat, clean & in an organized & tidy fashion. No unnecessary talking or useless interruptions. Thank you.
Very nice job, I like how you just put the words up and the ingredients for your Roast, its much easier to pause and write everything down then going back to hear what was said about how to cook, keep the videos coming, again Great Job!
I subscribed. A simple and good way to roast a shoulder of pork. Excellent results. I usually do not subscribe, if there there is no recipe that I can copy and print out but I did in this case. No silly chatter or sales talk and I like that. I Ilke to roast potatoes with the shoulder. Sounds English or Welsh.
Hey, this looks awesome. Going to try it today. Is there any way that the recipe can also be typed in so that I can print it and take it with me to the kitchen? Awesome job!! Thanks so much!
cooked this today and both me and my husband loved it! very easy and super delicious! thank you :) also no need to apologize for your clothes.. there’s nothing wrong with it!
Ralph, you're killing me here! What a delicious looking piece of meat! I've been researching different videos because I brought a pork picnic with no idea how to cook it. I'm using your recipe tonight, so thanks for sharing. AND dress in whatever makes you comfortable. Most of us don't care what you're wearing. Only that you can create a beautiful and tasty meal.
It looks great, even with all the aromatics dried out like that. Don't you find that Pizza Hut has very little taste? I would like to try this because it goes a lot quicker than most pork shoulder roast recipes. The shoulder you use is a lot bigger than the one I bought. That would change the cook time, wouldn't it?
Hi Ralph, Good luck with the channel. I've subscribed and I'm looking forward to more videos. I should do the same too as cooking is my hobby. BTW, I'm trying your roast tonight. Mike
Oh, man. I was hoping to see you slice into it so I could see how well it held together and how juicy it was. It looks wonderful but the recipes I'm seeing say to cook at 325 for an hour per lb. Seems you cooked yours for much less time.
+TubieNewbie3 Ikr. I was just waiting to see how tender it was when cut but he didn't do it. Also, I was concerned with the 3 hours baking time. What temp for that? He didn't say. I bake in a roasting pan covered so it will be very tender when I don't crock pot it. It still looked pretty good.
Nice video for a basic 3-hour roast. But for incredible pulled pork with the same cut: eg. (8lbs) 250-275 F for 8-12 hours. Internal must reach 190 F near the end of roasting for the buttery OH MY experience. I suggest this page kitchendreaming.com/oven-pulled-pork/
I loved this. You didn’t go on and on just to hear yourself speak!!! I’m glad I found this. I’m cooking one tomorrow!
this is an awesome video thank you for not drowning my ears with pointless chatting about your life, this is the way all recipes should be done!

Fantastic thanks 🙏🏻
I just did this today and getting rave reviews!! So proud!!
How much did the pork shoulder weigh?
It looks great, even with all the aromatics dried out like that. Don't you find that Pizza Hut has very little taste? I would like to try this because it goes a lot quicker than most pork shoulder roast recipes. The shoulder you use is a lot bigger than the one I bought. That would change the cook time, wouldn't it?
When you fail at that Gordon Ramsay intro
i wouldnt eat ramseys food if it was free

Hey ralph bring back the channel! You could go down the ASMR cooking route. Great vid. Thankyou
Dont worry about your attire it's the Food the Food!!! Lol show us!!🤣
Ok, you going to break the knife
How long per pound? You didn’t state the size of this piece of meat. Thanks!
Sir is it possible to stuff a pork shoulder?
Does the pork get tender enough after that time? I know that when they bbq a pork shoulder, they do it for 8-12 hours

+Destinyatk at minute 6:31 or so, he says 325°.
One thing I didn't like. The celery looked like it wasn't rinsed. I saw big hunks of black dirt on it.
AWWW BOY, TEACH ME
I have made this about 4 times now and its going to be Christmas dinner this year. Thank you so much!!
Did you wash that celery, hon?
Were you suppose to rub garlic on before searing? Carrots with the other veggies? What about the honey?
Thanks Ralph M, sure wish you had the time slice that juicy thing.😊
Nice job, but just one thing. Get your instant-read meat thermometer out and stick that roast to make sure it's cooked all the way through!
did you cover the roast for the 1st two hours and uncovered it for an 1 hour
If you cover it and cook for 8 hours at 250 it will be soooo tender and fall off the bone and be so juicy. Low and slow. Yours looks fantastic!
I would of liked to see it on a plate, or a slice of it
"Sorry for the way I'm dress, much to do, little time." -Thats a fucking tee shirt.
That would be nice if you cut it lil bit lol
Why are other videos saying cook it for 8 hours? Is it really fully cooked in 3 hours?
because he cooks at a higher temp
You could have injected some of the sauce into the middle of the meet to make it juicy.
