This saved me...had the exact same drawer in my Bosch fridge. Spilled salsa all up on the side and couldn't figure out how to remove this drawer. Life saver
Thank you extremely helpful! Thermador should just link their horribly written & illustrated Users Manual to your video, saved us from possibly damaging the drawer/slide mechanism.
Two months after my new refrigerator, and I need a clean. Your video was easy peasy to follow. The simplest removal from any refrigerator appliance I've ever owned.
Thank you for this!!! You would be surprised at how poor other videos describing this process are here. You did it in 59 seconds. BTW I think Sub Zero makes these for Thermador as the drawers are identical. Thanks again!
WHY SHOULD IT BE SO HARD TO FIGURE OUT?? Thank you sooo much for posting this. I keep putting off cleaning the fridge bc I couldn't figure this out. The manual does not explain it like this.
Well either I’m weak or the drawer is not working because those two parts that you say squeezed can’t be squeezed. They fit just right and they are not budging. Any other suggestions? Thanks 🙏🏻 ❤
This is helpful. What do you do when the two sliders seem bonded together on one side (the left side separates to enable one to slide forward, the right side doesn't separate) - do you have a video for separating the arm sliders?
Unless a previous repair person (or previous owner) ‘glued’ the side in due to damage we could assume that the two pieces of plastic are ‘bonded’ together from a food source. I.e. it could have been a spilled sugary substance or protein liquid etc. that found its way down between the two pieces and dried. As long as there are no cracks in the drawer you could try filling it up with warm water to flood over the stuck area and warm it up. This may take quite a few attempts at filling, sopping up cooled down water and refilling with warm again to get the goo to soften. Perhaps a soaking hot large sponge and laying it over the corner where drawer sticks will work as well. Alternatively you could also try a spray bottle fill with warm water, cool water should work too, and spray water at any angle that gets moisture to run into bonded area, just as did the sticky food substance. If you are careful, a hair dryer may have the same effect. Either method - after a few minutes, or more, the area may free up.
Thank you so much! I was just wiping down my upper shelf and it came crashing down and I have broken glass everywhere! I couldn't figure out how to get the drawer out and now I can! BUT - can you tell me how to remove the shelf that goes above the drawer that you removed in the demo? I have little pieces of glass stuck around the edges of that shelf. Thank you!

The white plastic pieces that the drawer slides back into came out and we can’t seem to get them on and for them to stay on before we put the drawer back in. Help
It is a terrible design for maintenance. We would not have been able to remove the drawer without this video. Getting it back in was also troublesome on one side, it just would not lock into the sliding rail. And when it did there was no obvious click sound or anything to explain why. We tried to follow this same technique on the lower drawers but they appear to have an additional latch in the middle of the rail. So we cleaned them in-place. Fortunately, they do not have much dirt underneath them yet.
Try this with the ice drawer, when a bunch of cubes have become a solid block and the only effective way to clear it out is to pull out the drawer. The weight of the ice block makes removal very difficult. Industrial design without real-world testing is nearly useless. Thermador/Bosch/Siemens should do better. Much better.
I can't believe I had to find a fu*king video to figure out how to remove and install the stupid drawer. Even still, this video doesn't show what to do when the track comes off, which it did! Can they make it more difficult for people????
Whoever designed this needs a darwin award
Thank you! Honestly, Thermador should include a link to this video! It's the first helpful one I've found

Thank you for this! Even to this day Thermador does not show this in their manual or website.
Thank you! Was loosing my mind. Why couldn’t they put this in the manual?

Wow, thank you! I was trying to find it in the manual and haven't cleaned the fridge for 2 years! Such a clear and easy explanation!
Thanks a million. Almost ripped the drawer out in frustration. 😁
Thank you sir! Your video saved me so much trouble! I have been trying to remove the drawer for 2 years.

Thank you so so much! Tryna clea the fridge for my mom! This way I don’t have to tell her! Thanks so much!
Very helpful, the recap was good. Some of us dummies need to see it up close and slow. Thanks for posting. Spill is cleaned up. 😅
Great tutorial you never know anymore
You saved my life! Awesome easy to understand video & instructions. Thanks so much.
Mine too 😂
Great video! Kudos. Explains process very clearly; vastly better than the cursory Thermador video (practically of no value in explaining the process)
You're a lifesaver...Thanks Sir!!!
Exactly what I needed. Thank you.
Thank you! I was prepared to break my work fridge out of frustration
Wow! Blessed man and blessed video! Saved my life!
Thank you!!! Made the cleaning easier!!
THANK YOU ONE ZILLION TIMES!!!!!
thanks so much. hard to figure this out on my own.
Thank you so much! This was so helpful.
Thank you so much for your help!🙏
How do you clean the glass under that drawer? There is a slight gap on each side of the glass that collects gunk.
Had it explained by repair man and this was way better
Thanks you saved my day!
Thank you. It is same model of my Gagenau
So helpful! Thank you so much!

Thank you!!!!
Thank you so much!!!! This is the worst part of the fridge!
Awesome, thank you. From there, do you know how to change the two lights underneath the drawer?
Good video but I agree with the comments that the release and latch mechanisms are engineered terribly.
Thank you!
Thank you!!

Any idea how to change the light bulb in the draw?
Well either I’m weak or the drawer is not working because those two parts that you say squeezed can’t be squeezed. They fit just right and they are not budging.

TYSM!!!!
THANK YOU! Thermador's video is NOT clear!
Thank you thank you
thank you!!!!!
This also works for the Miele refrigerator. Agreed that it is poorly designed and the manual does not have proper instructions.
Thank you!!!!!

Did you ever get that shelf out?
Great thankyou thankyou,,,,,
The white plastic pieces that the drawer slides back into came out and we can’t seem to get them on and for them to stay on before we put the drawer back in. Help
Boss!! Thanks
Can you do a video for a 36" Thermadore Built in Drawer removal?
It’s pretty much the same. We have the 36 and followed the instructions. Recap part is how we figured it out.
What about the veggie drawer underneath?
I couldn’t do it. What is “these two” ?
One of our slides popped off the bracket, how do we get that back on?
Same issue here. One of the sides popped of the bracket and I’ve been struggling to get it back in place for months now 😣
I am so stressed with this drawers. I broke some parts of the drawers.
What model is this? Because I can't get it to work on TFL36IR900
I believe the unit in the video is either the T30IR900SP or T36IR900SP.
Thank you so much. I hate these drawers. The design is terrible.
Still can’t freaking get them out. 😡
how do you put it back in?
That's the easiest part, the drawers just drop right back into place and closing them seats them back into position.
Go back and watch the whole video!! LOL!
For pete sake. we can't get this to work!! Any other ideas???
I wish I stayed with Sun Zero

Why don’t people who design these things ever try to use their own designs? That way they would easily know that they are terrible.
Biggest pain in the ass ever. I hate my. Fridge for this reason.
Thank you thank you!!! Why didn’t they make it easier. I don’t like the design at ALL!!!
I can't believe I had to find a fu*king video to figure out how to remove and install the stupid drawer. Even still, this video doesn't show what to do when the track comes off, which it did! Can they make it more difficult for people????
Worst system ever, I cannot believe Thermador engineers cannot come up with something better
Whomever designed this should be fired
Thank you, that was not intuitive at all.
Thanks but y u wearing gloves?
You're most welcome. I'm wearing gloves because I was installing a new water filter when I was asked how to remove drawers for cleaning.
