- Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden traditionally make up the northern-most part of Europe called Scandinavia. Sometimes referred to as the Nordic countries, this breathtaking part of the world, which also endures through the darkest of winters, boasts a rich heritage in the trance music scene. They've produced pioneering artists of the likes of Super8 & Tab, Daniel Kandi, Ørjan Nilsen and Dinka to name just a few. As Scandinavia emerges from the winter, this mix celebrates the contribution and unique style of these Nordic superstars through a melodic resa of some of their most uplifting and emotional works. Resa means journey in Swedish.

Yes! This is exactly the way I like to indulge and get lost in a mix! I've been keeping well, travelling heaps and enjoying time with friends. Would love to visit The Netherlands and cycle around, but before I do, I'm going to dedicate a mix just to your country
@@BeyondSkys09 That sounds wonderful, glad to hear you are doing well! It is to be expected that you're into travelling, your mixes always have that lovely 'journey' vibe to it; like it is a story being told travelling from one region to another.
If I may make the bold assumption you like nature: if or when you decide to visit The Netherlands, give cycling around flowerfields and stretched greenlands a try, or maybe visit the biggest nature reserve or a village build on water. A Google image search for 'bloembollenvelden zuid holland', 'polders nederland', 'de veluwe nederland' and 'Giethoorn nederland' respectively should give you a nice idea of what it looks like. I live near the 'bloembollenvelden zuid holland', it used to be a family tradition of ours to cycle towards the fields every year!
Anyway, I can't wait to hear your mix dedicated to The Netherlands. Do you have a donation link or something similar? I can't seem to find anything in the description. I'd love to support you.

I'm a journalist! Recently I've been covering the psychedelic industry, including its responsible use in cultures across the world. Basically it's a whole culture of people interested in harmony, trance states -- no other subject I've covered has involved so much dancing. CZcams didn't show me this one in my subscription feed, but luckily I check regularly. I was wondering if it would ever be finished and released. This is a bit of a different flavor from the previous mixes, but still thoroughly enjoyable. I'll perhaps come back with more comments after 5-10 more listens, hehe.

Yeah there is debate on this I'll admit, but I think most lump it into the Scandinavian region.
