  • A little over a year ago, a music artist named Diaz Grimm reached out to me on what would be a collaborative effort that not only gave me an opportunity to work on an intriguing concept but establish a friendship on the other side of the world in New Zealand. He had an idea for his latest album, Māui & the Sin. Diaz proposed the idea of creating two digital avatars representing himself. One younger and molded from a futuristic cyberpunk dystopia and the other older forged by his Māori roots of the past. Wielding a taiaha, a traditional weapon of the Māori of New Zealand, converging from two different worlds through a tear in reality. Personally, I've always wanted to work with or collaborate with a musical artist. So, after months of planning, concepting, and late nights, this was the product of our creative labor. Diaz made this process as easy of a collaboration as I've had in my professional career. Thank you, mate.
