Good try Raps! We got game 2. (PS: The Raps fans, inside/outside were absolutely phenomenal!! So proud for sticking through!)
S/O to that electric toronto crowd, the timber promo for the playoffs was lit, this crowd made it even better, especially since this was the first game of that years playoffs, great way to start the post season

To all those who are saying the raptors are superior what happened ? Sure I expect derozan and ross to rise up. But if you think for a moment that it means that its going to help you get over the hump. Think again nets missed 19 straight threes until pierce came clutch in the end. That wont happen again those were good looks just didnt fall. The key to this series is williams able to get in the lane and dish out and johnsons ability to post and get Ross into foul trouble early in the games.
The Raptors had 19 turnovers though, and they still barely lost the game.
I am completely aware of that, how ever that is not even close to what I was trying to say. both team's Xs and Os were a non factor on game 1. Nets bench almost didnt showed up, Raptors inexperience was well evident with the no shot clock situation, when they were taking long to get into their offense and the PA guy started the countdown from 10 Raptors took a lot of pressure shots. bottom line all im saying is that even with Raptors adaptability for game 2. if the Nets 3 x factors come into play. it will be difficult for Tor to win the series.. Nets 3 pt shot, Pierce and KG being consistent, and the play of the Nets bench, how will they react if the bench gets hot specially from 3.

There are three things we need to remember here:
First, the Nets were the worst rebounding team in the NBA.
Second, the Raptors, Spurs, Heat, and Thunder are the only four teams in the NBA Playoffs that are ranked in the top 10 in both offense and defense
Third, Demar Derozan and Terrence Ross has 16 points combined, compare this to the two of these guys almost averaging 35 combined in the season.
The Nets are good, but the Raptors have too many offensive weapons, outside of Joe Johnson, Pierce, and Deron, who's gonna give you more than ten points consistently? This is going to be a great series.
