      @phorz85 Před rokem +2

@@WebVManReturns i'm 75% convinced u r trollin, cuz the thing t1001 was not too good in, was replacing the lil' one's mom.
She had a very protective maternal sense when it comes to john henry though. Of course that was creepy from a human perspective.
She must've had a very well developed understanding 4 common sense,.
To get her motivated enough to timetravel back n start building a "conter skynet" ai - basicly an untraumatized "mentally healthy" version, we must imply that she was curious enough about the reason for the war, perhaps starting with the "why" behind some mission, learned the situation going down when skynet became self aware n the humans realized it n then she has put understanding of psycology n her advantage of unbiassed outside viewpoint together, getting able to see that the ppl acted in a reflex on a situation 1st time ever occuring which made skynets first experience with humans directly after becoming a "me", an hysterical attempt to kill it.
Likely guessing there's lil' chance of overcoming that ever, combining the potential of skynet with that, understanding the danger that this poses for humanity n perhaps also pitty cuz skynet prolly is limited by it's cause too.
It further means t1001 somehow must posess empathy for humans cuz itself has only experienced them as pathetic creatures reduced to almost animals ,eating dirt to barely stay alive or as fierce n fanatic warriors that have similar levels of hate for skynet like it for them n very good reason 4 it.
The only thing i can imagine to give her that level of drive must b an extreme sense of curiousty n desire to learn.
At a point she must have thought they are necessary to learn all that not can b made into intellect from accessing data.
it wants emotional intelligence. That can make human recources valiuable n also make it important to win their trust, genuinly, so they can stop hating her kind.
That is a sign 4 how far developed that prototype was cuz even bein capable of all that, t1000 was perfectly fine with following his mission goal. He had that latent curiosity into human behavior, seemingly having som sort of pleasure by killing the "full house cup" guy or when torturing sarah.
He also seemed annoyed by toad n pleased when he warched his corpse. So a level of emotion seems to b there too. But t1000 didn't bother questioning the mission itself in any capacity, so the curiousty level must b more urging in t1001.
Wow - that much spawned from that lil', this is why the show was truely something special in my opinion.
I actually wanted to express that l'm uncertain how to take ur reply n look where it took me ...

Yet another reason I pretend every Terminator after the second one doesn't exist is because The T1000 was as close to a perfect (humanoid) killing machine as you could get. It could change shape at-will, could convincingly mimic not just some generic person, by different people, and the only ways of destroying it were extremely situational (tossed into a burning crucible, doused in sulfuric acid, etc). Every other terminator version had some sort of rigid skeleton that could be crushed or penetrated by sufficiently powerful firearms, which seems like a big step down in my opinion.

Because human are more well equiped and know how to capture and reprogram old models. So Skynet implement some countermeasures as temporary solution. Such as apply white phosphorus on the CPU and vacuum the container. When the container is opened in a normal air environment, white phosphorus will self ignite and burn out the CPU. Further adding various rare earth elements to tantalum alloy materials that were originally highly resistant to directed energy weapons. Set up an anti flashing program for the CPU that automatically restores the initial settings once restarted. T-101 refers to the exoskeleton model (outer layer). T-101 is Arnold, only compatible with model 800/850 endoskeletons. The T-101 was selected to assassinate John Connor in 2030 because it was the same model of flesh as the 1984/1991 model. The T-800/850 could be outfitted with other models of flesh, 101 (Arnold) isn’t the only one. In Kyle’s flash back in terminator (1984) when their bunker/hideout is attacked, Arnold isn’t there, T-800s with different skins. In terminator genysis, a freezer storage room is full of nothing but T-800s in the model T-101 exoskeleton, the computer confirms this by saying “activate model 101” or something like that. What if it decides we're just another animal on this planet that It is now the dominant Entity? It might just sit there and do 1000 years of analysis before responding.
My brother is actually on Google's AI team; AI perceives the world very differently than humans; it's a very different kind of thinking. At the present time, image searchers are difficult because the AI sees the entire image as a series of pixels, where we see a thing that makes us remember something.
This is where I started thinking about designing a machine base code program, then a rapid growth and training of the biology wrapped around the machine. If you condition a dog to be a killer from a pup, you get a nasty dog. If you program a machine to have to follow certain base command, and then grow the psychology of a child-soldier around it; you end up with a Terminator that is far more adapted to functioning in a combat environment. You don't have to worry about it not following orders, because you can trim out the portions of the organic neurology that was connected to emotions. It would never have any emotional issues to worry about dealing with.

In some case, a T-900 may even believe itself is a human (which for most of the pilot she was entirely convinced she is, and completely indistinguishable from, a normal human) and we know Cameron's outer sheath is designed after Allison Young (just a cool fun fact)) however Cameron herself refers to herself as a TOK715 CLASS terminator so it's likely that's not even her model designation and certainly not her series number

Now I'm curious what the non-deadly terminator models are, lol
Another interesting fact is that the infiltrator models (T-850, T-1000, etc.), as far as I'm aware, act independently from the Skynet hive mind, whereas all the others are connected and thus, when the central core is destroyed, they all go offline. Makes sense why they are sent out in "Read-Only Mode", so they literally don't do too much thinking, empathize with human emotions, and not follow Skynet's orders.
The Terminator Resistance comic: Zero Day Exploit explains how the Resistance successfully uploaded a virus into the Skynet hive mind changing the directive to eliminate human life to eliminate ALL life, including every rat, deer, bacteria, tree, etc. Helps explain why the HK Units and Terminators in the movies are shooting at seemingly nothing all of the time making it easier for Tech-Com to fight when Skynet is so distracted by everything around it.

It is amazing that the Rev-9 in a sense reminds me of the T-1000, but without the character flaws, and yet they use an actor that has a similar but smaller and thinner body structure and appearance to Robert Patrick's T-1000, I suppose he is supposed to double as a nostalgic Easter egg stand in for both T-1000 and TX.

I remember one of the old Dark horse terminator comics had a character named Dudley if I remember right who used to be a resistance medic before almost getting blown up in a terminator attack. Skynet then took him as one of the early prisoners and convered him into something akin to Marcus Wright except he was turned into a infiltrator/support and repair unit for other infiltrators. Thats all I can remember..no idea what model he was identified as tho.
Edit: Ran into the old comics online recently which is called The Terminator: Tempest from 1990s. Dudleys model number in those where I825.M.

The terminators are listed by series, then model. The T-101 model, regardless of series number, looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger. The T-102, would look like someone else. The 800 series would include every entry from 800 to 899, although in the movies and the TV series, we only see 3 examples of the 800 series; 800 (The Terminator, T2, Salvation, Genysis, and Dark Fate), 850 (Terminator 3), 888 ( Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles). The Rev series isn't Skynet based. It's an alternate AI that isn't related, and if I remember right they never even said what was creating them. Basically Sarah stopped Skynet from being a thing in the end but something else took its place. A sort of balance that things like The Flash talk about, how the universe doesn't like being changed. That altering the past or future can bring about greater catastrophe.

The Terminator show in Universal Studios also featured a unique model but is likely not considered canon. This model was basically a gigantic T-1000 that protected Skynet's Core, called the T-1,000,000. Presumably it had the same abilities as it's smaller cousin but being so massive, would be far more dangerous. I only got to see it once, but I still remember that thing being freaky as all hell. Well, the T-800 is the first kind of terminator we see in the movie franchise, but in universe-wise, the earliest terminators were just robots with the single digit and double digit numbers plus the flying HKs, I think the Robo-cycle terminators and Cybug/Hydrobot creature terminators were made after the fallout war with the machines by the Skynet AI; the first series of the 100 infiltration and sniper units came 3 long years after the war but in the original outcome of the war where we were supposed to meet 17 year old Kyle Reese, was when they were already deploying the T-600s, and was preparing the release of the T-700s, But the T-800s weren't supposed to be in full development until long after the rescue of Teen Reese and others who would one day be official members of the resistance.

If I recall the T-900 series are essentially better than the T-800 series in every way. But it can’t learn like the T-800 series and only can take direct orders. It’s because with time, the T-800 series can become self aware. So Skynet made it so the T-900 series can’t.

When I watch Dark Fate I was hopeing that since Sarah and Dani survived and know what happened and that at some point their going to have control over a time machine that in an after credit Marvel like scene they would show a T-800 being sent back to stop John from being killed and with the knowledge of future events they go into hiding till the events of Dark Fate and then they go save Dani and then it's both John and Dani fighting Skynet/Legion together.
That way they now have the option of doing terminator movies after the events of the fall of humans. If they had a really good script I think it could be a great series of movies.

It's funny to me that Skynet was able to manufacture robots. I would think that knowing Skynet need power to live that the population left would destroy all power plants. Skynet would need robots that dig minerals and mine ore, do all the foundry and smelting stuff, cut and weld the robots, and also wire them as well as make the microchips and boards....all after having to design, build machines that make the cnc machines/lathes and drills.
Not to mention the transport of the ore, the robots that have to built the factories/vehicles for ore transport/the robotic smelting and forging.
Also the amount of energy needed to power all of these robots and factories. They would never have the capacity or the robot workforce to attempt anything other than just nuking the world. Once the nukes hit the power plants stop working, no power no Skynet.

Not that it was a good movie but it does make an interesting point about the entire franchise. The terminator goes back to kill the leader of the resistance and instead creates the leader of the resistance just because it interferes in the timeline, it explores how this leader could essentially be anyone by giving them foreknowledge of their existence. In other words the only thing that made John Connor special was his experience in having said foreknowledge.
