He didnt steal winwin's spot, its company decides also can y'all see winwin is more happier with Wayv? he gots more lines there and i feel like Sm has alredy decide from the beginnig to form sub unit for chinese members but still Nct is still 21 members so dont hate on jungwoo, instead go support winwin in Wayv.
I understand some yunqi's feelings that winwin didn't get to be part of nct 127's first concert coz frankly I also wished he could have been there, but no choice, Hallyu ban separated them :( I wonder how it's like in the alternate universe where Winwin didn't take a hiatus from 127 and is a member of both WayV and 127 and Jungwoo also ended up in WayV coz of his close relationship with the Chinese members jsjsj

If they wanted to replace WW, they would've done so since Touch, Regular, and Simon Says, but WW was still with them. Their positions in the group aren't even the same, one is a lead vocalist, the other is a lead dancer.
winwin was probably preparing for wayv in china therefore he was absent in 127 but jw got the hate for "stealing winwin spot"

I get the feeling for winwin not participating in 127 first concert... but if he attended and didn’t promote with wayv for their debut, people would still be upset because “he’s an older Chinese member and Sm didn’t put it into the Chinese subunit?”
People need to also understand that a lot of things are the company’s decision, that those are not even made one day out of the blue and that it takes a lot of time, that’s why schedules overlap so much. Yet fans want them to do everything but also get some rest at the same time? That’s not even possible. People need to think a bit more clearly and stop spreading hate to the members the way they do for things they don’t even take part of :/

Wow I didnt know they blame him for winwin case. It broke my heart. Dude, Jungwoo just so innocent (and sometimes cutely adorably clueless lol) it SM decisions. I love Winwin too just as much as I love Jungwoo and it pains my heart seeing snoopyzens and yunqis having hostile energy towards each other. Obviously neither Jungwoo or Winwin could decide SM's plans for them, imagine how Jungwoo felt seeing what kind of nasty things some stans were saying about him. This is the first time that I cried for an idol who received too much hate. Jungwoo brought me to NCT. I was mesmerized by his voice and visual in Boss, the song that also brought me to NCT. Those people who hated him because he 'took' WinWin's spot in NCT 127 are obnoxious, shallow, ridiculous, and DISGUSTING. I know this is an old video, but I'm gonna share my thoughts on this, some fans or newer fans may not know this but we the older fans (from smrookies tbe) were super excited when Jungwoo was officially introduced as part of smrookies cause we've been waiting for him for so long as we'd only knew him as member no.9 at that time with no names whatsoever, so having him finally debuting even be part of 127 meant a lot to most fans cause he actually also been spending his training time together with the rest of 127 and dreamies, people just so mean sometimes, you can be mad towards SM as much as you wished but don't ever includes other members for that

As an nctzen since Day 1, I can still remember how much hate he received during those time and you know that feeling when sm announced Jungwoo’s haitus due to mental health reason. It still gives me anxiety until this days. Glad that he is ok right now. Jungwoo worked really hard to achieve where he is right now.
I can't imagine someone hating Jungwoo, like, he is the most adorable, kind, funny, and talented idols out there. And i can't still forget some nctzens throwing him under the bus when the w**jin issue came out. What hurts me the most is that you can see that even HE doubted himself. When I watch old interviews he always says “I don’t deserve this” “I need to work harder” “I shouldn’t even be here” “I don’t deserve to be here” etc. The “fans” made it seem like it was all his fault, so maybe he took that information and thought “oh, this IS my fault” but it wasn’t.
