- Another video about my ultimate bias, Kim Jungwoo. Are we even surprised at this point czennies? Well this video is pretty self explanatory. In 2018, we get to meet Kim Jungwoo, a new member that joined the subunit NCT U for their new song, Boss. He was nervous, soft spoken and his voice shivers every time he speaks in shows and videos that they release. But now in 2021, I don't think that person exists anymore as we see a new Jungwoo that was so confident, doesn't even need to repeat his words, and often makes the members laugh. What a complete concept change! With a little bit of time and adjustment to the group he's in, he managed to be one of the funniest members of NCT! In this 2 part video, we'll be looking back on the past eras as I show how drastic this change actually is. 💚

I think the biggest turning point for Jungwoo was when he took his hiatus, there was clearly a lot burdening him in his first year, and I'm happy he got a chance to work those things out and come back with more confidence! It just shows how important it is that we allow idols the chance to be human and grow at their own pace!

Yeah I'm glad some NCT members have felt it's okay to take a hiatus and not continue to push through. It's way healthier and we can see how much it helps like jungwoo gaining confidence and being able to show more of his true self to us

jungwoo has really been under a lot of pressure. considering how he joined the team 'late', he surely faced a lot of difficulties and uncertainties. and the way he always takes care of sungchan because he said that he knows how sungchan might feel as he experience the same thing always makes my heart ache and feel proud of him at the same time. he proved that he deserves to be in nct and continues to do so. jungwoo is such a gem🥺
Ikrrr like debuting with experienced idols isn't easy.People expect you to know how to handle every situation and be natural confident.Even though being a trainee,they are taught about it but it takes time to get comfortable in front of camera and really show your personality.It really is great that they have each other's back.

I found them way after and it's strange discovering what a bundle of anxiety this boy was, especially with seeing him in favourite choreo as hard as he does. I just hope he's not just getting medicated and that he really had a chance to work through the be perfect ideas. He's great and has a wonderful personality as far as I can tell. He deserves to enjoy his hard work.

I'm beyond proud seeing how much he progressed from being the cute shy boy to the confident man he is now. I will never shut up over the fact that his hiatus did him good, let me rephrase that, he became the best version of himself. He is now more confident with his talents, humor, and hopefully he'll not be as insecure as he was when he debuted (AND FUCK ALL THOSE NCTZENS WHO MADE HIM FEEL THAT).
He is one of the most popular member now, charting the brand reputation, sold out merchandises, he's trending whenever he breathes, and he DID THAT without any solos, gigs, to promote himself better but he's still out there, climbing the charts with his talent alone.
So happy for you Jungwoo, you've come so far. Being an MC will give him so many opportunity as he will be seen weekly by the general public, he will have solo performances that can showcase his outstanding vocals, smooth dancing skills, and his ethereal visual. Hopefully this will pave a way for great opportunities for him, he deserves it so much.

I really appreciate how the members treat him so well. Everyone seems to accept him as a member without any "ill feelings", and Mark, Doyoung, Taeil and Taeyong seem to take care of him especially. I'm a pretty new nctzen, so when I started following them, I already saw this confident Jungwoo, and I really like that side of him, but when I went back to find his old clips when he was super nervous, it made me realize how far he has gone. He was really cute back then anyways though. He's one of my favorite members of NCT.
when he took a long hiatus, i was so afraid overthinking about his condition because sm doesn't give a specific information, i was afraid if he decided to leave kpop industry. but seeing he come back happier and be more open make me relieved. i'm so proud of him 🥺💛💛

While we worry and we feel like need to know, the reality is, all we needes to know was, he was on hiatus, and i recovering. Beyond that is additional info we should not be privy too. KOREAN society still has stigma attached to mental health issues or any signs of weaknesses for their celebs.

Jungwoo was still uWu back then even when he was shy and timid. Also, I can really see Jungwoo actor. He never gets out of character in his Finding a person segment in NCT channel. Plus, there is depth in his eyes. I hope we can see Jungwoo actor in the future.

Jungwoo is really my comfort idol in many ways..I honestly relate to him so much,as someone who have dealt with social anxiety, it takes me some time to blend in a group of people and can't talk much and can't really be myself but when I do get comfortable and starts to be my cheeryself again and become the most fun person to be around, Some people may think you've changed but it's not about that , it's about being able to express yourself completely, I've seen this in Jungwoo..Thanks KIM JUNGWOO for being the person you are today and inspiring many out there❤️

Same, I relate a lot with the anxiety too. It's so bad that when I get named to stand up and answer in class, with everyone looking at me, I can't think clearly, my heart starts to pound fast, face starts to get flushed, I can't even speak clearly, and if I raise my voice to be louder for the teacher to hear, my voice will tremble so bad, my hands start to shake. Half of my mind is trying to answer the teacher's question, the other half is trying to stop me from crying.
I used to be the confident kid that answers every question from the teacher and even participate in public speaking competitions. But I don't know what has happened that caused me to be who I am now... Tbh, I admire the younger version of myself...
I can still be the leader for group discussions (if paired with friends or acquaintances). I just won't be the leader that is going to present in front of the class anymore :(

The way Jungwoo cry makes me just wanna smack someone and blame that someone of making Jungwoo cry, I don't hate seeing him crying, I actually like to advice people that it's okay to cry and it's very therapeutic but it's just that my protective instincts activates whenever I see him cry.

He was one of the first "added" members of NCT, the fact that no one has ever done this concept and how he was one of the first ones responsible to reflect it's success. He had a lot of expectations to meet as well as a rather unknown and new situation to be in. He takes care of the new members cause he knows how they must be feeling and that warms my heart so much. I love how he doesn’t care about age when making friends… I mean look at him and Mark, they are literally best friends. I once saw a video of Mark when he used to call him Hyung, but as the time goes by and they bonded together, he casually started dropping honorific expressions with him. Love this friendship because it proves that Jungwoo has such a beautiful personality❤️

Jungwoo is one of my bias in Nct, and I'm not complaining, he's one of the strongest and most fragile member as well, he's not afraid to cry and show his emotions but he also went through all the hate he got when being in Nct 127 and when his smoking photos got leaked, I'm really happy Jungwoo became really confident, I'm so proud of him hope people would appreciate him more

looking back, other than doyoung, one of the person that i want to thank to probably taeil. he's always beside jungwoo and being considerate to him. Always hyping him up and accept's jungwoo's joking around. When jungwoo were emotional about receiving the fisrt award he can tell that jungwoo was emotional and up to this day you can see how well he takes jungwoo's joke and keep on hyping him up. thank you uri moon😉
