In the past, I've talked about how the One Piece video games in particular the Pirate Warriors games, play some role in the canon manga. Some of the latest chapters in the current Wano arc, act 3, continue to bolster my belief that the game material isn't meant to be ignored.

And then months and months later kinemon actually cut kaido’s boro breath in the canon manga
They either predicted the future or oda purposefully told them to add that as a somewhat foreshadowing or something like that
When you watch the anime fight of Luffy Vs Katakuri and Katakuri is dodging all of Kong Organ, time seems slower to Katakuri too. Or even in Manga when he's about to counter snakemans Culverin, he sees it behind him in slow-mo about to hit him to the left.
Shanks seems like a Yonko who knows the Advanced Haki's. I would assume so too since he wasn't born Overpowered like Big Mom and Kaido so he had to find a way to overcome OVERPOWERED characters.
Why does nobody talk about Shanks literally taking an arm from Kid when he bet his own on the new generation? I hope he has 2 arms now, that would be hillarious
Wonder if he saw something in kid or maybe he was blood thirsty and is actually a plot twist antagonist. People don’t even think about that it could be a gateway to tell what shanks is actually like

Oda doesn't cosult the games about character's abilities.. The game developers are the ones who consult Oda about it

its not maybe, Oda did that, in PW3, for how some characters moveset attack

Did you know that game designers have to give these characters a full move set regardless. It’s not like they can give luffy and everyone we’ve actually seen fight 20 different attacks and give shanks only 2 attacks lol they have to come up with something.

The author is alive and very interested in keeping the story interesting, he even had an interview with the guy in charge of the live action, Oda loves One Piece like a son.

A bit off topic but It's weird how big One piece and Naruto is/was and yet I have yet to see a super triple A, JRPG of a mainstream shonen, Like playing through the entire story or as a new character in that world, every game is like action/fighting only

OK About the haki thing with the lightning, i feel like its controlled conquerer’s haki. Cause everytime we’ve seen luffy clash with someone it goes crazy, it goes everywhere. Now what if it’s possible to control and pinpoint conquerers haki into an attack or like a blade. and that could be the next power up luffy will train in. what do you guys think ??

I agree with you fully oda definitely gives some kind of influence or script of what ability the characters can use. kaido used roar lightning like kaido in the game
That’s his conquers. Everybody in that game has a move for conquers except kaido. But he roars instead n it can be seen knocking people out and just the producing of the conquers Lightning is kinda of a hint that conquers can be produced that typ of way and manipulate the weather and elements.

In PW4 Kinemon cut the boro breath before the manga, and in Gigant Battle Dragon's abilities related to controlling a wind wave.

you also have to keep an eye on some story beats from the games that could hint at the canon manga. now, not everything is gonna be in this category, but my two i get from the line of PW games: Moria and Blackbeard teaming up from PW2 and Blackbeard appearing in Wano in PW4. those i honestly think could lead Oda to use them in future events down the road.
I believe Drake new Attack X.Caliber is in Pirate warriors 4 as an attack for him and Punk Gibson as well for Captain Kid

king in SBS for volume 93 oda clarifies kaido "flys" in basically the same way momo does where he can gather clouds and basically walk through the sky just thought you'd like knowing since you dont seem to know that so it seems to either be wind or just weather control
I have had the thought to make some videos about connections I’ve hypothesized between the games, the anime, and the manga, and what oda is trying to tell us within the different media. I don’t think ANYTHING One Piece is made without Oda’s consent or ok. I’m pretty sure he storyboarded all the attacks and move sets for the games and the anime and let the perspective team do their jobs. I consider these as hints just as the sbs to those of us who are eager to look clues to what’s to come. I remember watching your old video on Shanks and I totally agreed with you and was glad you found sound evidence to debunk the Shanks time power theory, but I think there’s more here, much much more.

I don’t know if to consider this spoilers but in the game also there’s also an exchange between Aokiji and Katukuri,I’m posting this in the middle of your video btw so you may cover it, that being said it resulted in Katakuri arriving in Wano that would make a decent amount of sense

The black lighting is haki related. without a doubt. Its universally haki related, whether thats armament or conquerors. The red part i think matters less, its either also haki-related and would apply to everyone, or it's a stylistic choice for shanks or others with some sort of a "red" theme.

If you didn't know, Shanks has had Red/Black colored attacks since 2016ish in the form of One Piece Treasure Cruise
They were very ambitious with the story line of the current one piece pirate warriors game. Do you think they'll do a sixth pirate warriors and wait until the story is completely over?

most likely there will be 6 OP PW games, 1 more to fill the inbetween and 1 more to wrap the story, and most likely have more content to them too, like even having Roger and Prime Whitebeard in them

His lightnings are the same color as the lightnings when Luffy and Doflamingo's supreme haki clashed
The games just took the lore of Eastern Dragons being able to manipulate the weather to implement the elemental moves in Kaido's arsenal, it has nothing to do with Oda's input.
wrong, in PW3, Oda help with the movements of some characters,, some people in developer ask Oda personally for ideas of characters movements

@@abdur1300 I didn't say it never happened, I said they took the lore of Eastern Dragons to use for Kaido's arsenal. It makes a lot more sense for Oda to withhold information on his biggest villain so far in terms of moveset so he can surprise his readers than to deliver it in a game as he himself says he hates when things is spoiled.
Also, none of the characters that had ideas taken from Oda had significant moves shown.
Perhaps it’s something to do with conquerors haki. Where shanks controls the one thing that no one can escape which is time essentially conquering time.

KOL, idk if Yamato's Thunder Bagua had lightning, but if she/he did do you think she can use the other elements too? Or maybe the other elements are tied into Kaido's Dragon form.

So assuming the game designers are making up the moves themselves and running nothing past Oda this could be true. But since the anime has to run devil fruits by Oda it could also be wrong too!

You should do this type of video again except regarding One Piece worldbuilding and lore instead.
I’m sure Oda either approves the move sets or gives them a cribnote version of their power sets for them to work from. I doubt they let developers have free reign with important characters like Kaido and Shanks.

The day a One Piece open world RPG game comes out where you can go to different villages with your ship and gain crew-mates is the day I can die happy. Have several crewmates throughout multiple islands, you are just a pirate trying to make a name for yourself or screw it, maybe Oda puts in some writing and we get an amazing story throughout the game. It would dominate sales if there was a pirate game like this, especially online oh wow.

No sanji just knew excactly were katakuri is aiming and he had to chill till the last moment.
He obviously seems to know everytime what‘s going on in the mind of the people arround him. My theory is it‘s going in reading the feelings and thoughts of the people around him.

In Sanji‘s case i would say, he knew just by the look to Katakuri excactly were he was aiming. When sanji clashed with Doffy he knew just by that short encounter that Doffy won‘t hold back and the Crew are not gonna make it out of there without escaping. The in my eyes advanced type of observation haki that sanji uses, alllows him to literally read the toughts that are going trough your mind. At Punk Hazard when Zoro reminded luffy about the stakes of the new world, he first said hey marimo and then he looked at zoro who were still screaming Luffy name, and understood directly what Zoro wants to do. It‘s not like back at Water 7 when he agreed with zoro, because back then it were Zoro‘s words that he agreed with while at Punk Hazard even before Zoro could find luffy he knew what kind of speech he is going to give luffy. Ussop and Nami sailed longer with Zoro and Luffy and they had no idea what zoro was about to do.
