That was honestly how I alway picture a Mike tyson vs Muhammed Ali fight going. The wood elves just danced round the Empire and whittled them down. Even when you had them in the corner at the end there wasn't enough left in the tank to land a knock out. In all honesty I thing you lost in the terrain deployment. That free wood and 2 acorn woods dominated the center and broke you down so much. I get why, but that's where the wood elves win happened.

I am new to this Warhammer Fantasy Battle, but I have been watching quite a bit recently. I really thought the wood elves lost when the infantry closed in. I did not expect two scouts to hold against 20? armored foes. I also find it strange that you cannot shoot into melee, as the elves were positioned perfectly on the flank to do so. This is a rule that I do not like.
