Y'all have no idea how cool Rizz really is! He is so humble and truly loves all his fans. For real. I got several stories but I'll just share one! I went to see Ralph when he was on tour doing the stage play going from city to city with Christopher Williams. I was in line after the play to take pictures with the cast. He literally walked right through the crowd like it wasn't nothing. I guess I'm the only one who seen him at first. I immediately start screaming his name. Ralph grabbed my hand and pulled me from over the velvet rope that was separating the crowd and the cast. He let me walk with him to the photographer's area hand and hand. ❤❤❤❤ Y'all...I hugged him around his waist with my head on his upper back telling him how much I loved him in his ear. 😂😂😂😂 He was so sweet to for that!! I was the first to get my pic with him and I still got it! This had to be back in 2004 maybe. I was acting a fool but he remained kind to me and sweet. I will love him forever for that night! I've been an RT fan since I was 8 years old. I truly love this guy. And this was only one interaction with him...I have others. Candy girl 4 life!!❤❤❤❤

@@debbiedelight7988my guess is, Ralph is not known to give much on himself in one on one interviews. Notice how he never hits the big interviews like the other 5 members do (ie: Breakfast Club, WBLS Radio, Angie Martinez, Ebro, Sway Calloway, etc) it’s always more independent and intimate interviews like Pierre’s but normally they’re short like 12 or less minutes. He’s always been the lead guy of the group, but pretty much the most low profile outside of the group. That’s what my theory is here

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE RALPH! I HAVE A FEW STORIES OF ENCOUNTERS WITH RALPH INCLUDING THE LEGACY TOUR.(WITH VIDEO FOOTAGE) BUT I'LL SHARE THE TIME THEY WERE IN MERRIVILLE INDIANA. I WAS DARN NEAR ON THE STAGE.. FORGET FRONT ROW LOL THIS WAS 1997 NE WAS SINGING HOW DO YOU LIKE YOUR LOVE SERVED. RALPH TOOK MY HAND AND SANG HIS MAIN VERSE TO ME AS HE WAS PASSING OUT RED ROSES, HE GAVE ME ONE. BUT WHAT REALLY MADE MY NIGHT. RALPH WAS OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE STAGE (POSSIBLY WHILE THE OTHER GUYS WERE DOING THEIR THING. I CAUGHT RALPH'S ATTENTION AND FROM THE AUDIENCE, I POINTED AT HIS TOWEL THAT HE HAD BEEN USING TO WIPE HIS FACE AND SAID "CAN I HAVE YOUR TOWEL?" HE MOTIONED WITH THE "WAIT ONE MINUTE FINGER☝🏽" AFTER THE SET WAS FINISHED RALPH KEPT HIS WORD, GRABBED THE TOWEL WALKED OVER TO WHERE I WAS STANDING, (THE GIRLS ALL AROUND WERE GOING NUTS) RALPH FOLDED THE TOWEL IN HALF AND POLITELY HANDED IT DIRECTLY TO ME! THERE WAS THIS ONE GIRL THAT GRABBED FOR THE TOWEL BUT HE MADE CERTAIN THAT SHE DIDN'T GET IT. I AM NOT GOING TO LIE, I WAS PREPARED TO GO TO JAIL THAT NIGHT IF THAT HEFFA HAD SNATCHED THAT TOWEL FROM EITHER HIM OR ME LOL. I THINK MY SOUL LEFT MY BODY AND LEVITATED! 😄 I TOOK THAT ROSE, TOWEL HOME AND FRAMED IT. I'LL NEVER FORGET THAT NIGHT!

Pierre on a roll. This is a really good interview. Ralph held NE down through it all. It's only right that he deserves his flowers. Hopefully, they will get nominated/inducted the R&RHOF next year. NE/BBD are the blueprint for both the male pop and R&B boy bands (although in the R&B world, they are considered groups).

I remember sitting next to Ralph n Mike early in their career....we had a nice 20min conversation, before they went in for a radio interview. I cried to the receptionist because I was to shy to ask for their autograph😢 😢😢
I had a similar situation. I was about 13 years old in Boston & Mike came in the store & brushed up against me. When I turned my head I was astonished to see it was him. I froze & didn't say anything to him. 🤦🏾♀️😩😄

Great interview! Ralph is so humble! My sister went to the New Edition Concert back in the 80's in Gary, IN, and Ralph waived at her from the tour bus. I could not make it because I didn't have the money but my sister filled me in on the show. I have always been a huge New Edition fan and I was so grateful to see them in concert at the Culture Tour last year with Jodeci and Charlie Wilson. ❤❤❤❤!

I like the fact that he said that the Bobby issue was'nt so easy for them. I can respect that. They are all brothers. I remember back in 1983 when I heard the song."CANDY GIRL". When I saw them I was surprise to see them. But, you felt they had something for sure. Incredible career.
What’s crazy is Ralph, Ricky, & Johnny still have it. Voices still shine. They could do damage on the adult R&B charts if they truly wanted to. Wish they would give us more music

Somebody get a pillow for this brother.. lol 😂 Thank you for bringing Ralph back .. very humble and well spoken and still handsome.🥰 when we went to cape Cod for our family vacation in the summer.. my cousin and I would literally walk around for hours hoping we would run into new edition.. lol 😂 it wasn’t until we were grown we realized Boston was an hour away in a car.. 🚗 😂😂

The New edition story that was aired on BET in 2017 was perfectly done, now that was everybody's favorite then along came with Bobby Brown's story and i swear that I couldn't stop watching both.
