Crew overboard research out of New York YC in Newport, R.I. in June 2023, involving representatives from U.S. Sailing Safety at Sea Committee, U.S. Naval Academy, Storm Trysail Club, Cruising Club of America, The Sailing Foundation, and New York Yacht Club. Part 2 will address research on the "mid-line lift" proposed recovery technique.
