What a waste of time
A shredder would have processed that pile of junk in about 3 minutes...this thing is a bad idea.
Hopper too small..... slow
This was obviously a sales demonstration video. Apparently fro the video this crusher requires external electrical power, thus the very large generator. Although the credits state a 6T 159hp Perkins diesel? Then why the large onsite gen set? Also requires some form of grapple crane to load it. It's gravity fed with a redictculess plunger and then apparently "compresses" the scrap metal out the bottom.
From the beginning I kept thinking there's going to be a silver lining with this machine. At the start it stated 10-15tons/hr, now I see why. Sorry but this is a very poorly conceived process, and even the greatest manufacturing isn't going to overcome it's inherent design flaws, low productivity, and limited improvement if any in the condition of the material being processed.
Conclusion: sadly I cannot find any redeeming aspects of this machine.
Post Script: whoever persuaded management of the choice in music (I muted the video) should probably be considered for employment elsewhere, or he's the genius that designed this thing!
