Guy who owns local saw shop in my neck of the woods backed into me while plowing snow. Bashed up my 96 chevy winter beater pretty good. I got him to give me a 372xp for damage. Truck still on the road. Love that saw!
Your father in law converted my dad to husqvarna and dad never owned nothin but for last 20 years he cut...and dad swore by stihl before then...so that said somthin to me,wich is why I'm a husqy man.

Both are nice saws . I bought my ECHO 620P because of the price point . It was 620 dollars out the door and the dealer is about 6 miles from me .
All saws are good, a sharp chain in the cut is what makes a saw ,any saw great.
The 455 Rancher was one of my first saws! You are right don’t matter what brand as long as it runs good with a sharp chain.👍👍

I agree Mike, but really I feel there is no bad brand, I just prefer Husqvarna, I also own a Echo and Love my Stihl GTA 26.
Both are good saws. I have a 55 Rancher that I think is similar to the 455
