Agree 1000% I’m not usually a soccer fan but I’ve never seen anything like that and never will. I’m stood up applauding and am still applauding and will for at least 48 hours.
I will never forgive Joe Buck for that commentating. One of the most legendary plays in NFL history to save the game that took away an undefeated season from Tom Deflate-y, and he makes it sounds like a 3 yard run on first down
Kinda figured Eli Manning would top the list. You could probably make a top 10 of just Eli Hail Marys. Doug Flutie’s college Hail Mary definitely missing though.
Errrrr......You are telling me the "Minneapolis Miracle" is not in the Top 10 Desperation Plays ??? Really ?? It took a team to the NFC Championship game instead of ending their season !!
The problem with #5 is it immediately from massive hope to bitter disappointment. It’s the football equivalent of a wrongfully convicted death row inmate being told he’s going to acquitted only to be executed anyway.
@@billt8504 The title was "desperation plays." DIdn't say anything about it not being college. But since this was TSN and not ESPN, that's probably why no college plays.
I would argue the number one desperation play was mahomes in the super bowl vs the bucs with the super man throw. Literally the definition of desperate and hit the receiver in the face mask.
number 9 is the best highlight in this video

Epic squinting!
So agree. Words cannot describe the desperation!
most likely had to be removed for copyright
Thank god, cause that’s about as much soccer as I can stand to watch.
I experienced some desperation trying to understand number nine
probably a copyright issue, some leagues are wierd like that, even espn cant show certain clips in american markets its strange
Joe Buck always making the most exciting and clutch plays feel like a routine force out at first base
dude sounds like Hank Hill out there, "pressing it against his helmet... and not dropping it"
You can’t play that saints clip without showing them miss the extra point, it’s the best part! 😂 😂😂

Found the jags fan
@@MrCubsfan3 I’m actually a Jet’s fan. I just think it’s funny 😂.
@@MrCubsfan3 found the saints fan lol
I was thinking the same thing. The agony of defeat.
After clip #5, The New Orleans Saints famously missed the extra point and lost the game anyway.
Wow #9 was mind-blowing
It blew my mind so hard, I don't remember seeing it!!!!
I don’t understand how #9 isn’t #1. I’m so desperate to know what happens.
How on earth can the immaculate reception not be on this list???!!!
I agree 👍 that #9 was by far the most exciting highlight...!!!
Number 2 was just a masterpiece
Kasich dropping his stick then saving it was soooo smart and SUCH AN AMAZING PLAY!!!!!!!!!!
Hasek. Dominic Hasek.
Hasek always looks like desperation but he knows what he's doing.
Number 4 isd one of the hardest things to do in sports. Takes amazing awareness and tracking to make it
I will never forgive Joe Buck for that commentating. One of the most legendary plays in NFL history to save the game that took away an undefeated season from Tom Deflate-y, and he makes it sounds like a 3 yard run on first down
Great compilation
Heinicke dive was pure gold
Barry Sanders should have had an honorable mention. The Lions had the worst O-line for years. Every time Barry touched the ball was desperation time.
Every save by Hasek was desperation. That's why he was the greatest goalie ever.
Up 5 to 1, that goal was desperately needed
Didn't see no. Nine
Uh…where’s Cal-Stanford 1982?
new number 1 has to be from the World Junior Hockey game 2022, in OT
Hockey: even in slo-mo, i still don't know what happened
I feel like the Minneapolis miracle should be on here. Maybe number 9...
Number 9 had all the elements of a desperate play.
Thought for sure the Jeter flip play would make this list.
If you say "helmet catch" one more time Eli!
I thought the 1984 Orange Bowl would be in there. Nebraska's "Fumblerooski" play.
Why the green bay /detroit rodgers hail mary wasn't number one is beyond me.
0:38 - Criminal not to have the Rick Jeanneret call of this Hasek save!
#5 should have a big ol’ asterisk…
Kinda figured Eli Manning would top the list. You could probably make a top 10 of just Eli Hail Marys. Doug Flutie’s college Hail Mary definitely missing though.
#7 is pretty satisfying
9 was the best
Nice 👍
the evil within 2
@@ryanforgalidad3387 thanks 👍
My skins and my caps both in this top 10 list 😮
How did you transfer this from the flip phone it was recorded on?
Saints missed the PAT after that play and lost
Whoever does these loves hockey that’s for sure
Well TSN is a canadian broadcasting network
It's the most talented, skilled, and entertaining sport out of the major 4 NA sports
How could you possibly disagree with the hockey ones in this top 10?
The Wolves were fun in the early years..
Errrrr......You are telling me the "Minneapolis Miracle" is not in the Top 10 Desperation Plays ??? Really ??
It took a team to the NFC Championship game instead of ending their season !!
#9's a bit of an odd choice
As a Warriors fan, how is the LeBron block on Iguodala not on here?
TSN has 9 reasons on why they need to get their sh*t together
Number 2 is the best
Honestly, number 9 should have been number 1!!
2:00 #5 too bad the saints lost that game LOL
Why are all these top 10 videos so wack lmfao… 9 just not there?
So we include the Saints but exclude Cal/Stanford? 🤯
Buehrle hustle.
The problem with #5 is it immediately from massive hope to bitter disappointment. It’s the football equivalent of a wrongfully convicted death row inmate being told he’s going to acquitted only to be executed anyway.
#5: haha and then what
Why was 9 skipped?
"Oh the band is out on the field!"
Where is it?
That's college, for one.
@@billt8504 The title was "desperation plays." DIdn't say anything about it not being college.

Theodore😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
What the heck was #9?
who dat?!!!
The saints then missed the extra point and lost the game. As a lifelong Saints and LSU fan let's just say I don't love watching PAT's.
I don’t watch hockey so all of these look like desperation plays
Hum, wtf was 9
#1 shouldn't even be in the to 100.
I would argue the number one desperation play was mahomes in the super bowl vs the bucs with the super man throw. Literally the definition of desperate and hit the receiver in the face mask.
#9 That's all we need to know and see of soccer.
The save at 0:55 should be on here. Game 5 1995 WCF. czcams.com/video/icsziky0JoY/video.html
I like number 9...
And people say they don’t like soccer. Watch THIS play and tell me that...
Uh nine, where are you?
#1 is the most over hyped highlight EVER! ... Eli's scramble is more impressive then the catch.
Joe buck: Ruining great moments since 1994
Saints need to be lower...they missed the game tying XP...JR Rider shot should be higher, IMO.
Number 9 was insane
Look up "Teresa Weatherspoon The Shot" and put it #1
some number 9 lmao
caught by tyree. _yawn_
#9 showed a guy smirking. Cool.
For your information #9; is the best fucking play of the millennium
Number 9 is crazy.
Joe Buck has ruined so many fantastic moments with terrible commentary.
That guy can't retire soon enough.
Wow. How can anything top the number 9 play?!?? Impossible!!!
These stupid top 10 videos were made out of desperation for content
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Boo saints.
