This was a very difficult install I've seen some videos where ppl made it seem easy, But they wasnt replacing the sway bar on a rally edition, I'm not sure if something is a Lil different on the rally models or not but this install was a challenge.
My final thought after doing a day of riding and between me riding my bike with the swaybar and my wife's bike without the upgraded sway bar is that I can't really tell a difference and my wife said the same thing. I've seen other people say that it's a big difference to them but in my case, I have a 2020 Ryker Rally edition which already comes with an upgraded suspension over the other models which is why I think I cant tell a big difference. I'm assuming if you have a 600 or just the regular 900 you may feel a bigger difference.
The swaybar and links have an outstanding build quality and are at a price point that is very competitive over the competition. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Hello Byron. Have a proposal for you. I would like to send you a full BajaRon Sway Bar Kit for your Ryker. I'm not asking that you do a video or even to comment publicly. What you do in this regard is up to you. Just looking for honest, straight-up feedback comparison on the 2 kits. I think you will find this bar a much easier install. Thank you for the consideration. Awesome looking Ryker, by the way!
It's due to all the information and add on you showed, made me want a ryker for the last 2 years. So as of a week ago Thursday, I finally picked up 2022 ryker from river raisin power sports in Monroe Michigan. I LOVE IT. Thanks Byron, you've been very helpful.
Appreciate you always being honest my guy!! Thanks!!
Thanks for watching and supporting the channel
Man I really enjoy yours videos I really look forward to getting my ryker your ride video have me hype
Now that was some intensive labor there my, friend!! Darn stubborn shock!!
yea man took us a very long time
Thx for sharing a nice vid bro. I will just change only the end links on my 2021 Ryker Rally later soon.
thanks for the video. It showed me where to Lift my Ryker and where to remove shock or fan or radiator. Mark G
Love your videos waiting for my 2022 Ryker rally get it in February or March hopefully🙏🏾🤣😂🙋🏾♂️😎
Thank you for the honnest review
Finally someone with good tools. After dropping that shock, removing the wheel should made it easier to take out & install the sway bar. I am glad you did not resort to cutting the old sway bar to remove it. GREAT paint job on your and the other Ryker. Ride safe!
Everybody who read this comment will be blessed
i couldnt tell any difference “waste of money for me”! nice video like always
I couldnt really tell a difference on my bike either, But I cant completry say it will be a watse of money for ppl who dont have A rally Edition Ryker, They may feel a bigger difference than what I feel.
@@ByronArnoldATL lol i have a 2020 rally edition which i paid $11,600 out the door “check”! sway bar was a waste of money “my opinion”
@@1112dejon I understnad what you saying, for you it was a waste of money which I agree with you on, But we cant tell other ppl that its waste of money for them becuse we dont know what diffrence it will make on there bike, I just had a person to leave me a comment on facebook and they said it made a huge difference for them.
The steering damper makes a big difference if you hit a bump your wheels won't get a way from you
I watched a video by Kingjoffyjoe413 and he ended up using a hack saw to just cut the old bar in half to get it out. I don't remember what brand he replaced it with but it did not bend down at the ends so getting it back in was a lot easier.
yea I seen ppl do that also
I only did the Baja Ron end links on my 2021 Rally last weekend and it did get tighter turning on curbs at 30-50 MPH. At 70 to 80 MPH it did nothing just like yours. I added the F4 Customs 16" Windscreen and that removed the buffeting and the jerking around by the wind and truck backdraft. It feels better at 70 MPH. Anything sustained at or above 80 MPH is a s**t show!!!! still.
Yeap, I would do same as you did. Thx for the info
No I couldn’t have done all that work for a small change in the ride quality , my man you’ve done a lot and doing a lot to your Ryker good job though .
Is replacing the end links more important then the sway bar ? Ive heard the links got a big effect just by themselves
Im not sure on that, but i have heard some ppl say that changing only the links made a difference for them also
I will change the end links only since the sway bar is a solid iron bar which I guess it will be fine.
@@kenniitran by now i changed both the links and bar. First i did links which made a little difference. But had to go with the bar too. Both from SE so the solid ones. I can tell the difference is day and night. So you deffi should go all the way and get the bar. But only if you want less bodyroll. Remember a stiffer torsion spring / sway bar is not always a upgrade. It depends what you want out of the ride
@@EasyLifeEntertainment thanks for the information bro. Good night 👌
I just did the links, lawd 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄.
It was hard with these big ass hands and Texas heat
I did the links on the Rally too and they definitely helped with the side to side motion
@@kip1512 haven't gotten to ride yet, had some other projects
Maybe try the Baja Rons on your wife's Bike then compare might be a slight difference.
yea A slight difference is still not enough compared to the amount of labor it takes to install
@@ByronArnoldATL I hear you on that!!!
Blessings to you and Family
The end links itself makes a world of a difference,I'm not even messing with that bar at all...You can tell the difference immediately...
Many people just take a sawzall to the old bar.
yea I have seen ppl do that to, but i didnt want to cut mines lol but it definitely would have been quicker
@@ByronArnoldATL are you going to keep it for the resale value or just sell it for some quick change?... I mean it's not like the bike is that old that people are going to be looking for OEM parts to restore it with maybe in 20 years but it's still a new bike
Where are you going to feel the difference with the sway bar it's in curves sharp curves then you will feel the difference
I dont know, I thought I was feelinga diference but then when I ride her bike it still feels the same
Most people cut the bar inhalf
Take a grinder and cut the bar
yea but i just didnt want to cut it tho
If you can’t tell the difference it ain’t worth the effort .
