I appreciate the work ethic and professionalism with which you approach your work. It sets a good example for all the crew - not just the engine room crew. Your company is fortunate to have you looking after their vessels. You clearly appreciate the unique opportunities you enjoy as a seafarer, a leader and as a chief engineer. Thanks for the additional work you put in to produce these lovely films so we can share that experience.

Hello Chief !!! Your videos were inspiring to the viewers who want to continue unique life carrier job especially I mean for seafarer as our job revealing daily activities is rare to see for those who are from land side . Thks for revealing our life style as video clips across the public and I started to subscribe your channel last 5 months ago , plus your videos that I downloaded are also interesting among my family and they also love it . Be safe contract Chief !!!

Another outstanding video Chief! Insightful, concise and captures the feeling of always catching-up with the calendar & key events schedule. I am counting the days for you when the crew are finally off the blocks, and punching holes in the sea again. It’s a man’s life at sea. Carry on!

Watching your team go through the tour and training remind me of my time in the Military, whenever we went on Temporary Duty assignments we always had.Tour/briefing of our locations, including all of security, Safety, and policies and procedures
Hopefully all will go well as you get your ship ready for sea.

  • @associatedblacksheepandmisfits

I hated dry docking , the ship felt trapped somehow , no motion or vibration when on shore power apart from the sanny pumps which sounded really loud. you had to watch out for the dockies also,if your gear wasnt secured it would go walkies ! was always amazed at the sheer amount of wildlife that you dug out when cleaning ballast tanks, some crabs must have been in there for a while as they were far too big to get through the valves! Hurry up and wait from the office was a pain, "got to catch that tide" then you get sent to anchor for days....Miss the life tho. Stay safe chiefy.
silly quiz for anyone interested; 1/ Which part of the ship travels the longest distance ?
2/ What goes from forrard to aft on one side of the ship and aft to forrard on the other ?
3/How many chief engineers does it take to change a light bulb ?
    😁😁😁🙃⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓🚢
