This is probably my favorite album ever, it would be really nice if you reacted to the entire album here on yt😃"just got back..." is also really good

I love this song but I definitely prefer their live version during their last show, the sound engineering was great and we could hear the guitar and guitar melldies much louder
My only issue with this band is the mixing which is a bit amateurish IMO but that makes sense they were basically teens

what’s crazy is adam did all the instrumentation for this album except for the keys/synth. what a legend.

I love this band so much, their music is like a massive emotional purge

I think the thing with the vocals is that they are meant to be more an emotional force than a nice sound, which doesn’t make is good or bad necessarily, that’s up to the listener

I think Just Got Back from the Discomfort is better than Masked Dancers despite the slightly lower score. MD is a bit sloppier and the vocalist sounds like he was losing his voice throughout the recording of it. In contrast, Discomfort sounds much more tightly performed. Also, while I think both albums are very inventive, Discomfort feels like it’s own thing, whereas on MD I hear more parallels with the little Midwest emo I’ve heard. To put it succinctly, I think Discomfort is the culmination and final evolution of their sound before disbanding (although they did put out the Okumay EP in 2012, which also sounds very different).

I sincerely believe they peaked during their first Demo EP. It', s literally the most incredible Midwest Emo album I've ever listened to, go listen to it if you haven't, it's MINDBLOWING
