No joke for this one, I just loved this serial. Perhaps it could use some tightening up like you said, but I'd watch this again in a heartbeat. I also definitely (had) a crush on Lala Ward
I've heard that Armageddon Factor is really not popular among fans. I thought it was pretty good! Key to Time was one of my first regular viewings of Tom Baker's Doctor. It meanders a bit but I don't mind; it gives Tom more time to be funny. The ending is a little anticlimactic and not the story decision I would've written, but it still made sense and I still enjoyed it.
That's a really nice way to look at it. Tell me, was it strange starting out with a season-long story-arc then moving on/back to a more serialized structure? Or were you already familiar with the classic series before then?
@@Dirvinator I only had Armageddon Factor and Carnival of Monsters on VHS, bought at a car boot sale. At the time there was no internet, and I guessed that Armageddon Factor was the end of a season-long story arc, but I enjoyed it on its own. Needless to say eventually many many years later when I did get round to watching the whole of the Key to Time I was unfortunately underwhelmed.
Overall, this season has been really average for me, and this one was probably my least favourite. Didn't hate it, but it was somewhere in-between boring and silly. This is probably my least favourite season so far. I can't see myself revisiting it, but if I do, hopefully I'll appreciate it more. Absolutely agree with what you said about Romana. I just didn't feel like I knew her, there was very little to her character. But anyway, heres to next week when we begin season 17.
I like The Armageddon Factor

the coming soon trailers are the only extra that i always check out... they are so often thrillfests
I used to decide which Classic DVD to by *specifically* based on whether or not they had a "Coming Soon" trailer as a bonus feature.

Wow, your *least* favorite? Have you seen season 18? If so, I fear what I'm in for...
I can't click on Destiny of the Daleks 😔
Haven't edited it yet 😁
Romana 1 is a lesbian icon.
Is Romana II the 2nd icon?
@@Dirvinator I don't get queer vibes from Romana 2
