I'm an Italian fan of the B's, and although I can't watch all the games of the regular season for obvious time reasons, regarding the playoffs, I follow them, despite the fact that in certain days I have to stay awake for almost 24h in a row. Can you imagine how much disgust (and pain in my ass) I felt last night's game because of the poor refereeing decisions that affected the course of the game? (not only yesterday) I have to be honest, the Bruins aren't playing great, the little kitties are indeed superior to us, but as long as these controversial calls continue, all the team's effort, will remain an end in itself. The referees and the league should be ashamed of themselves.
Amen!
Preach it brother.
Sam Bennet should not have been in the game after punching Marchy in the head in game 3. two horrible calls. NHL did not release the footage of the punch until after game 4. This has become professional wrestling.
Officiating and the Situation Room are in ka hoots!
I'm with you. A better team beats a lesser team. So the issue here is the call alters momentum, aura, kismet etc... I can't help but think that the introduction of industry wide Sports betting influences outcomes. Let's face it, I am surmising that the NHL "may" have a desire to see the Panthers win the Cup( as well as Sports betting). If they don't and the team changes on salary cap issues, the team gets blown up and the return of the Florida Kitty-kats may cause another franchise having to be relocated or eliminated altogether. The Cup is crucial for the longevity of this franchise in such a deep south market The fan base will only support them as long as they are a wagon. The venue (so I gather), is a pain in the ass to get to.
In my conspiracy theory opinion, Bettman and the NHL will do whatever possible to see the Panthers through. If they are are superior team, so be it. I'm fine with that. The Sam Bennetthit on Brad Marchand adds fuel to the "conspiracy" fire since the release of the alternate angle, where, clearly Bennett fully intended to injure Marchand. All the while in the post game interview he denies, and proclaims innocence. I know the Marchand haters were cheering. (I was no fan of the McAvoy high hit a few months ago.) So Bennett could have hit Ulf Samuelsson and I would still feel the same. I just think something doesn't smell quite right.
No IT SMELLS LIKE SCANDAL …
Yeah it’s a real pain in the ass having to wait in line 20 mins max on the busiest days, that’s with a sold out crowd. Even if you’re driving multiple hours in the wait to get in the building is negligible as they’re just that efficient with parking and where the building is. Unlike STD garden which is near impossible to get in/out of in under an hour any given day. But we have the pain in the ass venue right?
Nothing but truth on this rant. Bruins got screwed
They said it didn't prevent him from playing the puck. Coyle was lying on him. The linesman was standing over the net, watching it as close as he could.
Coyle had momentum heading into the crease and didn’t fall on top of Swayman until his pads were locking coyles skates up. No goalie interference what so ever
@@zachlesk5685 or crosscheck?
@zachlesk5685 with our without the momentum, he was still crosschecked into Swayman.
@@zachlesk5685 His momentum was caused by a cross check from a guy that should have been suspended for a punch to the head the game before. Bruins should have lost this game on their own. Instead the refs are making it look like pro wrestling.
@@timhall5840 stay mad about it, this is the first time in a long time Boston fans have felt this type of pain and they rightfully deserve it
How they didn't get it right the first time OR reverse it is astonishing. You take away momentum. Yet there were some tricky tack interference calls that made ya go, wtf. I'm fine with letting them play but be even between both teams.
More of a general criticism.. FOUR officials on the ice and they 1. Constantly get in the way 2. Can't keep up with the game
???
#TimetoHunt 😂😂😂
The league is lucky Florida is going to beat Boston regardless. Imagine this was a tight series in the finals for example. What a farce.
This League is a Ham League!!!
The refs are the best team
The league has decided the panthers win this series it’s scripted pre determined and they use calls like this to determine the outcome, the Bruins would have won this game
Panthers are by far the better team. Even if the goal was disallowed, they still had almost a full period to tie it for OT. Cats had 41 shots on goal compared to Bruins 18.
Well all is fair I guess , so when good Ol’ Bob goalie gets his Kitties dumped on his back while trying to stop pucks OOPS !
Guys, the rule was not a factor. Coyle was at the top of the crease. Bennett did not push Coyle 20 feet. Coyle was already in Swayman's way and would not have been able to prevent the tap in. That is exactly what Toronto saw. The interference rule did not factor.
And the point has gone way above your head. Coyle was pushed into Swayman causing interference. Bennet scored an empty netter because of it. It's pretty simple.
Lauko was on a breakaway and got held into Bobrovski two games ago and somehow that was goalie interference. Let's see some consistency.
@ad1260 Bennett certainly pushed Coyle, there is no disputing that. The point that is seemingly going over everyone's head is Coyle was already in the crease. Sam Bennett did not place him there. If Bennett had never pushed him, he still would have tapped the puck in. Coyle was already in Swayman's way.
@@richardthacker6 If he didn´t shove Coyle out of his position then puck won´t bounce back to Bennet...
The league like our government representatives are less than...as in not worthy.
Good teams overcome bad teams succumb. That's you Boston.
Score more goals or shut up
100%. Clear the puck out of your zone once in a while too. Maddening stuff
Cheers
Bruins will beat the better team this series…
The reason is simple. It’s rigged. The nhl will never let the Rat hoist a trophy.
But Marchy already have his cup or did you forget about 2011-12 season ?
So you read 69.1 from the rule book but not 69.7?
69.7 Rebounds and Loose Pucks - In a rebound situation, or where a
goalkeeper and attacking player(s) are simultaneously attempting to
play a loose puck, whether inside or outside the crease, incidental
contact with the goalkeeper will be permitted, and any goal that is
scored as a result thereof will be allowed.
So you're calling Coyle being pushed/cross-checked into the goalie "incidental contact"?
Incidental contact was not in this situation. It’s starting to look like the refs are dictating the outcome of games . Not just this series, look around at other games as well .
@jayb7281 thats how it was perceived to the situation room. You crosscheck to hit or move the player. Bennett didn't crosscheck Coyle for the sole purpose of falling into Swayman, it was an incidental consequence
@@mikecho8008 situation room thinks otherwise
@mikecho8008 but it was, coyle lost his footing and fell into swayman because of the crosscheck from Bennett. Bennetts purpose is to put the puck in the net not purposely shove someone into their own goalie. The situation room saw this as such.
It was, iffy still getting ass whooped
So the Bruins went given a fair shot? Because they didn't Shoot!!! Can't score if you don't shoot they had plenty of time to put the puck on net they just didn't! So blame the refs...even though there are plenty of other calls that aren't called...Bruins are just getting beat!
Love how they break down the rule and play entirely…. Minus the part where Swayman was already pushing against the post before coyle fell on him, and even the NHL said he more than likely would not have been able to stop that puck regardless of coyle being there or not
Boston fans are the worst cry babies. Maybe if they were playing better, they wouldn't have to worry about the refs
