I forgot to shout out Tragically Hip and Travis Tritt as well. Happy Hunting to you too!

I've been getting more stuff on CDs lately too because at 1 or 2 bucks a piece it's a good deal. I invested in a quality separate DAC that added more to my listening enjoyment. Greg

I have heard a lot about out rising CD prices, but I really haven’t experienced that much. For the most part CDs at de one hand shops have been fairly cheap.

It is getting much harder to find anything half decent at a good price. A lot of the stuff i'm now getting is
    on C.D.
Also faults with vinyl annoy me, and arriving damaged. Good luck hunting for bargains Rick.

I ordered a record a month or so ago. Double LP. Sides 1, 2, 3 were fine. Side 4 sounded completely warped even though the record was pancake flat. Definitely a bad press. Another new record came in shrink but the vinyl was covered in dust and the edges were poorly cut with bits of jagged vinyl hanging off. Like you said…it’s annoying…we’re not getting our money’s worth.

You can get cds on the second hand market for insane prices. Recently i purchased 350 cds for 80
euros, all excellent titles and near mint quality. But even buying new cds is worth it. I bought 17 new cds for 50 euros in the record shop two weeks ago during a mayor sale. I don’t see that happening with new vinyl records, maybe 10 euros per piece lowest, if you’re lucky.

There is an antique mall nearby where you can get some obscure CDs at 10 for one dollar US and I found some great music picking up Al in’s I never heard of there. The pricing on vinyl is getting out of control and on used vinyl the condition seems to be getting worse.

Wait, doggie, daddy’s busy being a nerd!!! (I write that with love!!). I just went to an antique mall and the beat up albums were so expensive. I’m glad you were able to find some CD deals. Pillar has a nice cover.

I swear the used record selection out there is getting more and more beat up…of course I’m looking more and more beat up too.

@@rickandrecordsI was beat up a few years ago. Honestly, you’re looking great. There are deals out there. We just gotta dig!!!! But I’m not great oat using the back to bend down to get to those out of the way bins.

I know what you mean about stores and vendors charging crazy prices for albums and cds , even the thrift stores are getting ridiculous! I took a look at my record collection recently, and it occurred to me my vinyl collection was mostly thrift. I mean hendrix, Zeppelin, journey, even the Beatles! Now a days, all you get are instrumentals, foreign language, and Christian, and they hoard the good stuff for the showcase! And ask between 10 and 25 dollars per piece! OK, enough rant. Now to the finds. "Demons" is a song you'd know from Imagine Dragons. "King of New Orleans " is the one you'd know from Better Than Ezra.

Ah. Now that you mention those songs they are ringing a bell
