This series comes with a top-mounted compressor which pulls in less dust and debris from the floor; the compressor operates with 1/5 or 3/8 hp and uses high-performance R-290 refrigerant. These units have a corrosion-resistant stainless steel interior and exterior for added durability.

The interior offers full-size food pan slides plus a perforated rear plenum for better air circulation throughout the unit, and you can purchase an optional sheet pan slide separately to easily hold a sheet pan inside the unit. The solid doors feature a full-length U-shaped door handle for easy loading, and the configuration options for the Z Series are half doors, drawers, and glass doors. The refrigerators maintain temperatures from 33 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit, the freezers maintain temperatures of -7 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and both unit types are equipped with auto defrost.
