This "one world order" ideology began at the tower of Babel when man was rebuilding after the flood, and trying to unify all of mankind under a governmental and religious system. Really? You canonize a woman who was a JPII cultist and a Modernist. She spoke at LENGTH about the virtues of her late husband and congratulated Mother Angelica, who congratulated her on EWTN. She was a rabid ecumenist, one of the "all faiths lead to heaven" heretics. Phenomenology, the twisted philosophy of JPII was her belief system and essentially, it is all about personal experience. Read Paschendi, by Pope St. Pius X who condemned MODERNISM very clearly, bravely and astutely. You believed apparently, by your gushing about von Hildebrand, in the cult of personality that she was selling.

His objectivist brand of phenomenology was developed in response to the subjectivist approach that was being developed by modernist such as Husserl at the time. He was without a doubt one of the most significant Catholic philosophers of the 20th century. If he's ever canonized, he might even be considered a doctor of the church someday. It seems unfair to bash Alice who was a long-time student and frequent collaborator of his, and who undoubtedly brought many into the faith. I don't know about her connections to JPII, but like her husband, she was against the relativism and modernism she saw creeping into the church.
Even if she was an ecumenist - and I haven't seen the evidence for this - you can't expect someone to have the right opinion on every issue all the time. If that was the standard then many important Saints and Popes wouldn't be canonized right now. Furthermore, the idea that she has a "cult of personality" about her is also ridiculous when the majority of post-Vatican II cafeteria Catholics have never heard of her (or her husband for that matter).

Fr Altman. So refreshing. I love the way he smiles and talks about the world situation with no fear. I have been studying about the Roman Empier. 1,000 year's of rule and they still fell poor decisions corruption, invaders. I know God is in control so I just stay informed by honest truthers and know powerful people and citizens who understand are in control. I am glad to be alive to experience the war between good and evil. Keep praying for the children. Remember, there will be the huge event and then we become the warrior's to clean up the mess.
