$250 two years ago is such a bargain. My daughter just got her hair done-not the same color highlights-she used an actual color (it’s really pretty). Her hair is just past her shoulders and she paid $300. I think this client’s hair is stunning!

How long did you process the hair?
IF I AM DOING A ROOT HIGHLIGHT TOUCH UP WOULD YOU RECOMEND ME TO GO WITH THE NUMBER 7 LEVEL BLEACH AND 20 DEVELOPER OR SHOULD I GO FOR THE 9 VOL AND 30 DEVELOPER THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
I typically do not use 30 volume close to the scalp since the heat radiating off of the head will speed it up. I go with 20 volume and just let it process longer. Hope that helped at all!
$250 is such a good price! I wish there was someone in my area that did. such great of a job for that price. I paid more than that amount for a hair length that is half of what she has and it took her less than 3 hours to do it. She did a really good job but I definitely wish it was cheaper

SO beautiful. Random Q- But, is it okay to get your haircut and balayage done 1 month apart? I REALLY need my hair cut next week( its long and needs layers and a trim for it's health. haven't gotten it cut in a year! It's been driving me crazy lol. And we don't know if things will get worse in the US forcing places to shut down near thanksgiving time. it could happen.). But my top stylist for choice isn't avail next week( i never got a balayage before and i want this one particular stylist) I know it's probably a dumb thing. But i was going to get my hair cut next week and then right before thanksgiving get it balayage? Does that sound okay or do people usually like to get their hair cut and colored the same day? Again maybe dumb question but i like never had my hair colored before so i am super excited
Usually clients get their haircut after a color service especially after lightening the hair since the ends sometimes to become more brittle. It’s better to do it then but it’s all personal choice

We call it “Foilayage” no? Because it gives you better lift by using foils, do you charge differently for different methods? I do. 👍🏼
It can be considered foilyage.... but it can also be considered “balayage highlights” “baby lights” I just depends on clients hair and what I’m doing to charge differently
