Harris XG-100 Option 50?

Option 50 is “OMAP Wideband Disable”. The Unity is not considered an OMAP (Open Multimedia Application Platform) radio. Remember that the Harris option set is not radio specific, so there are options that only apply to specific models. Option 58 is “Wideband Disable” and that’s what will control the ability to load a mission plan with or without Wideband enabled for a given channel. So you’re not crazy, modulation should be wideband even with option 50, but option 58 must not be installed in the XG-100P for 25kHz operation.

When I had Wideband Disabled on my XG100, I was told that I didn't sound "that bad" on UHF, but I was told it was still narrow but loud enough not to be annoying..fortunately I got that issue resolved and removed Wideband Disabled but have yet to test it with others to note the difference
