- These daily vlog posts are trial and error attempts to learn how to video b-roll better and tell a story both visually as well as verbally. I am using only the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the PYGTech Mantispod Z at the moment. No extra lighting. No tripods. No microphones. Eventually, I will add some other equipment. Right now, however, the focus is on getting the video and learning how to entertwine it together in editing to create a more compelling story.
If you are interested in purchasing a PYGTech Mantispod Z for your own use, please consider using my affiliate link with Adorama. It will help support the channel. adorama.rfvk.net/3ez1bX
That's cool: they need trees in the yard. yeah, music is important. 💖🎶
If the walls could talk…I love history! Everything was good. Music and all the technical input. Xo
jolly good... out and about. Till next time thanks again Tim.
I'm so glad we got to go back to Red Clay State Park. One of my favorites. It was all good.
Thanks for taking us back 😀
I just love that park!!
Good Morning 😊
With the limitations you had, I thought the music was a pretty good fit.
I can’t help but think about all that goes into making a short video. Moving the camera and setting up different shots along with the editing process. 😊
Delightful music. 😊
☺
🌻 I'll Start-Off with . . . the 🎶 Music being Perfect for this Type of Video. The "Silence"
was also a Plus Here, and the Coloring or should I say Lack of. The Vibe with All those Thing's Combined, it seemed a "bit" Nostalgic. It was Interesting to S👀 All of the " Different " Use's - Each of the Building's. "1" of which was the Sleeping Hut. As you were Walking, it was also " Cool," looking from the Inside Out. S👀ing those "O-l-d" Thing's as you were "peeping" Inside as well as Being Inside lookin' around was "Cool" too.
While I watched I was thinking that the music worked great with this video.
The angles and placement of the camera were next level. Music worked great.
Thanks!
❤
I enjoyed the acoustic guitar and muted color, it suited this video very well
☺
videography was impressive
💚
I enjoyed the video and I liked the music selection. I chuckled at the shot of you peering into the window and I think that shot helped tell the story of visiting this place.
☺
I watched it twice. I love this kind of historical video. Loved seeing spinning wheel thinking about women...I believe only women in that era... would be using. At first I thought you were at a kids' camp and then I saw Cherokee sign. I thought the music was appropriate. Joan
☺
I just enjoyed it, I don't understand the terminology. The music worked nicely.
I think the music fits this video well. My initial reaction to the video, however, was that it didn't tell a complete story. Were it not for the video title, I would not have known where the video was made. Since there was no talking, possibly a shot of you pulling into a parking lot and/or a sign that introduces either the park or the farmstead would have told me where I was going with you on this walk. Just some thoughts from someone who doesn't know much about making videos.
Great feedback!
Great Video really enjoyed it. I am going out on a limb here I bet your test of the selfie stick that you omitted would be a great blooper, in fact I am betting you could have a great blooper upload !!
I almost added it over my final narration just to demonstrate how bad it was. Now I wish I had! :)
This video made me feel like l was there and me myself peeking through the windows. The music was nice for being all you could choose for now, but to me, maybe something with Native American flutes or a colonial type of violin music or even a banjo would have sounded nice. But that's just me because l like these places that bring me back in time.😊
☺
The music was in the ballpark but maybe not quite right. Too upbeat, not contemplative enough. Liked the shot of you peaking in the window. Wondered how you did that. Didn’t really notice the colour change. Interesting video
I would agree about the music. Not quite right.
I liked it. How do you search the music, I mean, is the list of music separated by genre, or what kind of labels do they give so you can narrow down the selection and not have to listen to every song? Just as an example, how was this music described, besides just a title and artist?
Great question. I might do a video on choosing music soon. But in the Creator Studio I start with free music only. Then lifetime licenses. Then usually instrumental only. After that there are several genres like Folk, Jazz, Rock, and many more. You can also select a Mood like Dramatic, Happy, Angry, etc. you can also choose no longer than or no shorter than and beats per minute. Then it’s just sorting through.
interesting but I never understood the story. We you looking for something?
