I hiked HOURS to fish a Mountain Lake... THIS is why! 😯

  • Fishing an incredibly scenic high altitude lake - what happened amazed me! These untouched, wild and remote places are an absolute joy to fish, you really never know what you might catch. The going can be very tough, as it was here, but the reward can be massive if you stick to it! What you don't see on these videos is the hours of casting without any action whatsoever, so it definitely wasn't easy! I love trout fishing and perch fishing in general, but there's something extra special about lure fishing a place like this!
Plenty more mountain fishing content coming this year so don't forget to subscribe if you want to see more! Drop a like too if you enjoyed the video, and i'd love to hear what you think below.

Love your enthusiasm, love of wild places and admiration of these beautiful fish. You remind me of how besotted I was as a kid with fishing. I used to get up at 2.30 am after not sleeping from excitement, then cycling 6 miles to tench-fish a lovely, idyllic lake. I tipped my catch back in as older anglers were arriving. (My first fish was a perch though). Other nights I couldn't sleep until the red porcupine quill burned onto my retina went under and I nearly jumped out of bed - you rekindled that feeling, thanks so much. regards, Mike (subscribed).
