[1000] 1915 Maddock Madbrook toilets!! +1950's toilets

- Filmed in the NY-PENN trade center office building in Binghamton NY, which used to be an old high school building. I was expecting something good coming in here but definitely not original like this!
The first clip is the ground floor ladies room. It has 2 1950's Kohler Penryn toilets, and 2 more stalls that the toilets have been removed and used for storage now.
The 2nd clip is the ground floor men's room. There are 2 RARE and AWESOME 1915 Maddock Madbrook toilets, original to the building and feature concealed valves in the wall. They have had their stall partitions removed and are now being used as "urinals". The 2 toilets are "Standard" Madera bowls that replaced some original pedestal urinals.
The last clip is the 2nd floor men's room, which has 2 Eljer urinals and 2 more Maddock Madbrook toilets on concealed valves, one was out of order.
There was another men's room that I saw that was just like the last one, except it had 2 "Standard" Madstones instead of Eljer urinals, but the condition was too atrocious to film it - Věda a technologie

Something quite a lot of muriatic acid is needed with pumice stone to bring those neglected fixtures back to looking like new.
My favorite one's the PENRYN™ with the vintage black ChurchSeat™ on it. 1:03.

Amazing angrybrooks! The last toilet looks so rusty that i thought it had a dry bowl lol it camouflaged pretty much
I did too. But the one in the other stall was broken and that one was actually dry, and the whole room choked me with sewer gas not gonna lie!
@@toiletsroc I see… however, I do tend to wonder how you managed to survive the smell of sewer gas? Also, it’s quite funny how 2 of the Maddock Madbrook toilets do not have stall partitions which makes some of us mistakenly refer to them as urinals even though they are not.

Yeah. NYC used to have a LOT of neglected public restrooms in subway stations. They used have vintage fixtures but it was like a dumpster.

When did the high school close and why did it close?
A new larger high school was built in 1970 and I'm guessing that's when this one was closed. There are 2 other schools in this city from the same year and those were kept and expanded but this one has no room to expand so that's likely why they gave it up

Wish you could smuggle in a brush and clean them before hand because it’s a waste looking at toilets that are too dirty to see on camera. Would of liked to have seen these old toilets.

I would never even attempt to get inside these toilets even with such urinals & very old toilets rough shape after all these years. At least you spared the masses from the latter men's toilet due it's very poor condition.
I'd rid these old toilets & replace them with new toilets & closed-front toilet seats with lids due to the aforementioned sewage gases seeping upwards into the toilet areas. In addition, these toilets need a total renovation as this dastardly appearance is unacceptable in every way, shape & form.
thats not an excuse to replace them with those badass toilets
