It sound good, I like this style of BM. Guitars reminded me somehow the feeling of old Goat of Mendes album Hymn to One Ablaze. I have two of their releases on CD (Hymn.. and To Walk upon the Wiccan Way). I haven t listen to it for at least 15 years so thanks for uploading this band to remind me GoM :-) And even more, I looked at metal archives and found that GoM are still active, I am curious what music they play actually.
This time it's more unusual: cover art is very meh and music is damn epic.
Yeah, the cover art doesn't really fit the music. With a cover like this you expect a primitive first attempt of a bunch of youngsters. Luckily, at the end, it's the music that matters.

This is a nice one. I still find the occasional howling cringeworthy (4th and 5th track), but aside from that, quite great album.

Generic if you listened to ton of mgla, and a lot of other bands within the sound but also inspiration not only from mgla! But it means nothing. There are loads of bands that make generic music but are very very good
@@user-te1bu4li8q I think I agree, it just depends how good that "generic" thing is. I think you have to be amazing at "generic" or classic style of black metal (or any genre of music) for it to really stand out, versus being a little more experimental.
I don't think I listened to that much Mgla, but probably a lot more 4 years+ ago than in the last 4 years. I mean I even said this album is good back then, but I'll have another listen of this.
What a fool mistake. I doesn`t mean non est deus. It means Deus non est. The Subjekt stands always at the beginning of a sentence and the Verb always at the ending.But Iike the music. It realy doesn`t sound bad. But this name is too funny to take this music serious.

No its not incorrect. The Verb is at the ending of a sentenc. Thats what I said. Yeah, its wrong that the Subjekt is always at the beginning. It can also be an adjective like subito (suddenly). But the verb is always at the end. Like, Tibi credere non possum. Here we have two verbs. credere-inf.(believe) and possum((I) can) 1.pers. present. This sentenc is very intresting because its in two parts, Tibi credere(believe you) and non possum(I cant).(I cant believe you) In both parts is the verb at the ending like in every sentence in latin. Source: Latin lessons in High School. The lesson book Prima Brevis licensed from North Rhine Westphalias syllabus.
Latin's inflectional syntax means that "non deus est" is acceptable and there are numerous references to this usage...in the Summa Theologiae among other places.
And just in case Aquinas isn't adequate: "De Deo loquimur, quid mirum si non comprehendis? Si enim comprehendis, non est Deus." - Augustine, Sermo 117 (www.augustinus.it/latino/discorsi/discorso_152_testo.htm).
Sevenless is right. Latin has no strict word order. Example, the Julius Caesar phrase: "Gallia est pacata", with the verb in the middle.
Read the titles and the lyrics of the first song, listened to it, incapable, this is garbage. It's trying to be funny, but it's not.
