- Love she galloped all over her rivals in the 2020 Investec Oaks at Epsom. Winner of the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket the previous month, the Aidan O'Brien-trained filly made a seamless step up to 12 furlongs as she cruised home by nine lengths in the hands of Ryan Moore.
Moore said: "She was exceptional today. We've always thought she's very good and she proved that in the Guineas, but today she's taken a step forward."

The Northern Dancer line is nothing short of phenomenal.
U and Peggy are spot on. What a line to follow. Enjoy your racing
I miss this horse
That aidan obrian is one srewd cookie fair play to him 😁😁👍👍🍪
Be Jesu! The way she took Tattenham Corner!
It must be Love...... Love...... Love!!
The new Queen of racing
the coolmore crop are some of the best bred racehorses in history
@prowlifik they didn't buy love they bred her
Superstar filly.
Class horse with the right breeding. Had a lovely touch.
There in nothing will beat love this year class 💪👌👍👏👏
We will see about that pal
@Steven Hickman why did Enable pull out of the race she was meant to race in because love is racing in it if that don't tell you nothing will 😂😂
Strong contender for the arc based on this run
Thats was outstanding.
A super filly! Galileo is truly a super sire, as is Sadler's Wells and back to the fabulous Northern Dancer. Love has the genes to be one of the best, maybe another Enable.
Beat Enable's Oaks time
U r so right Peggy. The breeding is the best. That's why they win. The thoughts plans and dreams start in the breeding shed. Great to follow the line.
@@suemaher5282 Absolutely, Sue. Breeding tells. It does go all the way back to Eclipse, the Darley Arabian and one other stallion, so her genes are mighty powerful!
@@davidmarcer7313 Well, as long as they get the money..................
Love done that with such ease
Taking that in conjunction with the Guineas, she now looks a real champion. Stuck out on the wing at Newmarket, no bother to her. Logically, there was every chance she'd hose up in the Oaks, and she duly did. Looking forward to her now for the rest of the season.
Looks better than any of the Derby runners.
El Gran Senor on times and the same track and same day Love beat Serpentine by 3-4 lengths.
And love was hands and heels the last furlong and won eased down.
This is lovely
Love should go to Ledger and try to win the triple crown
She does look like a bit of stayer. Great shout. In a very strange year it could be possible
Aiden O’Brien will hold all the aces now. She looks exceptional after bolting up in the Guineas & today. If they send her to the Ledger, her biggest danger will come from her stablemates.
I personally think go for the arc, she's that good.
Doug Funny ..On the evidence of what she’s shown this year so far, she’s possibly better than the colts, so you may be right & she’d be getting a lot of weight from older horses too.
but she wouldn't beat serpentine, who ran roughly the same time as her but whereas love had pacemakers to help her, serpentine had to make his own pace, not forgetting there was no horse challenging him all up the straight, unlike love, who had to fight off the second until she assumed command.
aiden o'brien will not want to pit these 2 great horses against each other in the st leger, when he knows either will win it; there are more prestigious races love can win, while serpentine's career may go in the stayers direction.
that is some filly, Arc anyone ?
I think im in Love
Gary Paro Me too xx
Me too 😍
Is Aidan the greatest
No, Galilelo is. Sadler's Wells was. Without those horses he had nothing. Bolger, Weld etc. would have won just the same.
Having the tools doesn't mean u can do the job. Aidan O'Brien is the greatest trainer I have seen. He was pretty special before he went to Ballydoyle. That's why he got the job. Love him or not. The man can train horses and Coolmore can breed them.
@@suemaher5282 Exactly...a lot of these people are absolutely clueless about O Brien before Coolmore secured him as their top man. There is a reason why Coolmore chose him
Yes he is the greatest but then again it's easy to win all these Group 1 races when u have 3 or more horses in every race
They have to be all trained to perfection and he.is the master best in the game no matter what people think of his tactics
deleted and uploaded again, why?
For any Jockeys in the comments, what do you think the best age to start riding would be? Xx
now
Ciaran James so any age/ ASAP?
@@Ellasnaps for any sport the younger you start the better.
So weird seeing coolmore with 3 horses in a race u normally see 5 or more
If they didn't enter it will be a poor day and racing would be all the poorer to be honest.
One of most prestigious race meetings of the year and same as the irish Derby, the camera can't stop shaking during the race. Annoying to watch
Camera man lumped on the winner, I'd be shaking too
Too easy, the Irish. Showing the rest how to do it (yet again).
Will somebody please spell Leger correctly you guys/girls - there is no D
Can you say "handily"? 😅
Coolmore dominance in the top races will end once Gallileos stud career is over, unless Galileo can produce a sire or two in the way that Sadlers Wells produced him and Monjeu. Coolmore have access to the best Galileos and the most quantity of them - its almost unfair! If other stables want to send their mares to him, it, it costs them a fortune, that's why his stud fees are listed as "private". Coolmore and Aiden O'Briens current success reveals more than anything that quality of resources is more important than skill as a trainer. If he is such a great trainer, why the need to enter so many horses at once in the top races? I dont remember Sir Henry Cecil doing anything like that!
ian justin Aidan could win the Derby with Steptoe’s Hercules
@@niallsheehan474 Really? If that's the case, why did so many of his winners come from the produce of Galileo then? And when alive, Monjeu? A huge sample of his winners have come from these stallions. We wont know if your point is valid until Galileo has been retired to stud and his last produce is no longer on the course. Sadlers Wells, Danehill, Monjeu and Galileo. Its like he has been working in a factory called Fort Knox!
Ian. Are you forgetting that aidan obrien trained the mighty istrabraq to win 3 champion hurdles. Or also he trained yeats to win 4 ascot gold cups
The Maktoums have done it for years. And a long time before Coolmore too.
O brien and coolmore have made flat racing as one sided as celtic have made scottish football.....
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :)
Nothing wrong with that
5/1 to win the arc is a bit skinny considered she has yet to prove on soft ground. It’s true her time is faster than serpentine but the derby winner is very lightly race, and there’s tons of improvement still to come.yet his price to win the arc is 25/1 having said that would i punt on those odds the answer is NO.
She's a Galileo FFS .... soft ground?
5 to 1 might b a good price come arc weekend she looks very very speical
'love' is a good filly, but she would have been beaten in the derby; today's irish oaks didn't really do a lot for the form.
Great race and a great winner.
It's surreal seeing Epsom Downs totally empty. The police cars following the horses, as if to say "No human being is to get within a mile of this. Heaven forbid anybody should enjoy this great occasion, except digitally."
It's fucking tyranny. The jockeys obediently mask up, though that is not quite as stupid as the PL footballers going down on one knee for... For what? Oh yeah, for George Floyd.
Surreal? You ain't seen nothing yet.
Vencejo Totally agree 👍
Kneeling for an absolute scum bag you couldn't write it....
Vencejo ..You tell em mate..😀

If you watch say the 2019 Derby replay on this channel, there are also four vehicles following the field. The front vehicle, at least, on each occasion, is an ambulance. Were there different measures this year?
Catastrophic ride of Dettori..
Talking through your pocket yeah lol
Cristiano Bitoku ..If it’s any consolation, it made no difference. The winner is in a different league.
Delusional comment he was 2 lengths down on the winner 2 furlongs out and lost by 11 lengths the winner was a great horse frankies horse simply wasn't near good enough even Gosden admitted as much your obviously taking the piss.
Don’t blame frankie great pilot
Was not a quality field she beat , enable will put her in her place, they may as well try and win the at ledger with her ,the arc no way not good enough,
I am Frankie's biggest fan, but that was a poor ride
Poor ride are you taking something he was a length or thereabouts down 2 furlongs out and lost by 11 lengths the horse wasn't good enough
Rammstein Red: Not so sure here but he certainly did give English king a bad ride in the Derby.
@@nightowl7459 why are TV pundits and reporters scared to criticise big jockeys like moore dettori Murphy and when they screw up what would they b saying if it was marquand Beggy our havlin on the big 3
