  • Love she galloped all over her rivals in the 2020 Investec Oaks at Epsom. Winner of the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket the previous month, the Aidan O'Brien-trained filly made a seamless step up to 12 furlongs as she cruised home by nine lengths in the hands of Ryan Moore.
Moore said: "She was exceptional today. We've always thought she's very good and she proved that in the Guineas, but today she's taken a step forward."

but she wouldn't beat serpentine, who ran roughly the same time as her but whereas love had pacemakers to help her, serpentine had to make his own pace, not forgetting there was no horse challenging him all up the straight, unlike love, who had to fight off the second until she assumed command.
aiden o'brien will not want to pit these 2 great horses against each other in the st leger, when he knows either will win it; there are more prestigious races love can win, while serpentine's career may go in the stayers direction.

Coolmore dominance in the top races will end once Gallileos stud career is over, unless Galileo can produce a sire or two in the way that Sadlers Wells produced him and Monjeu. Coolmore have access to the best Galileos and the most quantity of them - its almost unfair! If other stables want to send their mares to him, it, it costs them a fortune, that's why his stud fees are listed as "private". Coolmore and Aiden O'Briens current success reveals more than anything that quality of resources is more important than skill as a trainer. If he is such a great trainer, why the need to enter so many horses at once in the top races? I dont remember Sir Henry Cecil doing anything like that!

A huge sample of his winners have come from these stallions. We wont know if your point is valid until Galileo has been retired to stud and his last produce is no longer on the course. Sadlers Wells, Danehill, Monjeu and Galileo. Its like he has been working in a factory called Fort Knox!

5/1 to win the arc is a bit skinny considered she has yet to prove on soft ground. It’s true her time is faster than serpentine but the derby winner is very lightly race, and there’s tons of improvement still to come.yet his price to win the arc is 25/1 having said that would i punt on those odds the answer is NO.

It's surreal seeing Epsom Downs totally empty. The police cars following the horses, as if to say "No human being is to get within a mile of this. Heaven forbid anybody should enjoy this great occasion, except digitally."
It's fucking tyranny. The jockeys obediently mask up, though that is not quite as stupid as the PL footballers going down on one knee for... For what? Oh yeah, for George Floyd.
