Hello guys and welcome back to our channel.
It took us a while to film and upload this video, even tho it's been requested since the first reaction to Turkish music we've ever uploaded.
We wanted to be aware of what the song is about and what the consequences to the song have been, we did our research and with this reaction I think you will get to know us a little bit more.
A lot of the topic discussed in the song are very sensitive topic and we are aware that we are sharing our own, sometimes strong, opinions about very important topic and that not everyone will agree with us.
With this said, we hope to not offend anyone and we hope that anyone will feel respected by our opinion, if in ay case someone will feel offended, few apologies in advance.

Hello BigHouse! It was a good choice to understand what's going on in Turkey and actually some parts in the world. Whenewer i listen it i can't hold back my tears because it's actually what we live. Politics in Turkey is really complicated. Half of our population is conservative and the other half is liberal-secular. Whenever seculars come to rule they oppress to conservatives and whenever conservatives come to rule they oppress seculars. Nearly 20 years, conservative party is rulling Turkey and everything goes constantly bad. Fortunately the young generation of Turkey is aware what's going on. We are not like older generation, we don't care about radical ideologies, we just wanna live together peacefully and equally. Most of young Turkish people hate racism, homophobia, supremacism and don't mind race, religion, skin colur, sex, sexual orientation, language or whatever. The last election there was many young people who vote first time and the rulling party have lost İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir and nearly most of big cities. We are waiting for a new election and until that time there will be more young ones who can vote. I belive that future will be better, not only Turkey but world. If there are bad comments just don't mind them and take care yourselves. Greetings from Turkey. :)

About the İstanbul convention, we left the treaty in one night, with Erdoğan's decision. According to the constitution, the president can't make Turkey leave international treaties on his own and the parliament must make this choice but years ago they put the presidential system into action. Which is actually against many articles of the constitution. Now, one man decides on such important things and the parliament can't do something about it because pro-gov MPs have the majority in the parliament. They just do whatever Erdoğan says no matter the consequences. He just does whatever he wants in the middle of the night and we learn it in the morning.

@@abhassan5908 Senators take their power directly from the people in the US. We've even seen senators dissuade the presidents from their unfavourable decisions. That is not the case for Turkey, we can't even vote for a single MP in the elections. We vote for a list that is arranged by the chairmen of the parties. We don't even know who among the list will go to the parliament, so we can say that they don't get their power directly from the people as in the case of US senators.

I'm a 18 y.o. and high school senior. Despite my age, I am worried about so many things like the state of the country or my future, as are my peers. Since there are so many universities in the country, there are many people who are "educated and unemployed", that is, they graduate from university but become unemployed. It's really sad that this is the case. I really study hard but this situation scares me.. Not the mention that the education is also very expensive. In short, we don't "live" here, we're just trying to survive basically..

La Convenzione di Istanbul da lei menzionata vuole anche prevenire la violenza nella tradizionale struttura familiare in Turchia, ma il potere politico conservatore nel nostro Paese sostiene la violenza domestica contro donne e bambini. Il governo, vicino alla cultura araba, ignora le usanze turche. Il posto delle donne nell'antica struttura familiare turca era molto importante, ma dopo che i turchi si convertirono all'Islam, si allontanarono dalla tradizionale struttura familiare turca con la cultura araba. Di conseguenza, donne e bambini hanno cominciato a essere uccisi, picchiati e sottoposti a gravi violenze. sosteniamo la Convenzione di Istanbul. Il potere politico ignora questo contratto. Questa è una grande perdita per la Turchia. Il potere politico impone i propri interessi e pensieri al popolo.
