About Kandi not being able to sing: Kandi was 16/17 when Xscape recorded the first album. The tone, depth, color and range she had at that age was exceptional. Kandi has the widest range in the group. Also, a person that can't sing cannot hit, sustain and resonate D6 and Kandi can still do it 30 years later. That's like playing a Chopin piece perfectly and then somebody saying you can't play piano.
And the note in My Little Secret is an E6. Amazing how high and low she can go.
