@@DrDevvi Mules are expensive and filled with valuable minerals, the only reason DRG wouldn't recall Molly would be that they can't.

0:28 Broken down machinery can be so haunting, especially when accompanied with an eerie quiet. These where once great titans of excavation and now they are nothing but abandoned scrap metal. Really puts the prospect of life into perspective, does it not?

These little animations are either just goofy, epic, sad, or some combination of those three. But they're always a joy to watch!

Looks like Engi was having too much fun with the fat boy overclock and downed the rest of the team somewhere..........
its something engi would do, but we still dont know how the scout got into this situation
@@DrDevvi Maybe the Driller and Engi took off and Gunner followed them? Maybe they saw a crassus? We may never know though..........
A scout is held to a higher standard, we are the ones making sure no one else gets left behind! Besides, if youre not grappling your way to be first back to the drop pod, is it even worth returning to the rig?

@@Stonecold300 in my experince, scouts are mostly treated as a joke, bullied and abandoned.
You could make a series where that scout lives in the tunnels and tells a experience on a camera or something

Honestly, i really want a story about a dwarf that was left behind. How he find ways to stay alive and hopefully how he can escape

A video found on a recovered data chip showing Carl doing his best to survive, evidence of him still alive and kicking ass. hang in there carl, we will find you eventually and bring you home, rock and stone.
One time my friend and I were playing with two what i thought at the time were greybeards. The revealed themselves to be leaf lovers when they tried to leave us behind. I don't know if it's intentional or not, but in season 5 the drop pod will no longer leave if all dwarves outside the drop pod are downed. So we were able to get back safely (Thanks to iron will not those knife ears)
June 25, more than 40 minutes into a haz 4 mission, all my teammates down, 1 hp left as scout, no red sugar nearby, no ammo, 30 seconds for the extraction, i had no option but to leave mt fellow dwarves behind..
well, they were all desperate to complete it, so they really wanted me to escape already.. BUT STILL- It haunts me to this day..
You did what you could, but sometimes we're forced to leave a comrade behind. Rock and stone brother.
We need to find him, we need to bring him back and we need to make him drink so much he thinks that blackout stout is water
We really need more objects on the mission, which proved that the past dwarves died.

I like to think this is Karl, and he's been unable or unwilling to contact DRG since he went AWOL somewhere in the Hoxxes system, presumed dead. He would be a scout, seeing as the central statue in the Memorial Hall with the raised pick seems to be a Scout and that's probably Karl. Maybe he's still down there, loading up a MULE's dimensional pocket storage to this day, repairing and commandeering abandoned equipment from old operations. He could have carved out a Mountain Home down there, guarded by Bet-Cs & BOSCOs, just waiting for the day dwarves come to actually colonize Hoxxes.
I hope he's down there somewhere, watching over us

ah must be a sequel to the video from 2-3 months ago, were scout was left behind inorder to save engineer, he might survive, as it looks like the mining platforms turrets still have ammo since not all of them have self destructed.
this is gonna keep engineer up at night knowing it shouldve been him not scout, dotty and molly.

Honestly, you know what would improve DRG’s atmosphere by a ton? Random, broken down machinery. Kinda like the Mini MULEs or abandoned resupply pods. There could be Mineheads, Morkite Pumps, Drilldozers, Hack-C units, and even the new Drillevator. Nothing to collect and no way to use them, just stationary, broken, powerless machines, never to see the light of the stars again. It’d make the whole game that much more eerie and melancholic.
would be kinda cool, like revisiting old mineshafts and walking past all the old machinery

Imagine Mission Control in his cushy office chair, sipping a mug of- we'll be generous and say it's Oily Oaf- just to get a request for a Resupply Pod for a mission that _definitely_ failed.
It was a special mission. One for the grayest of graybeards, as DRG had detected an Ommaran Heartstone... underneath a cache of Aquarqs. The challenge would be insane... but the payout would be legendary.
Alas, the mission failed. The constant bug attacks meant Doretta didn't even make it to the Heartstone (ironically, stopping just shy of reaching the Mine Head). Three of the dwarves were successfully extracted. The fourth, a Scout, was lost.
_Could he still be down there?_ Mission Control wondered. Comms had long gone dead. Yet, here was the request. Here was the Nitra. Maybe...
"For Rock and Stone," he said to himself, pushing "Confirm".

seing something like that in game as an easter egg. Massive mining operation gone wrong. There would be remains of mules Bet-cs and some remains of dwarfes like guns ziplnes or sentries.The only thing that you could do is secure some minerals left behind

@@DrDevviits even scarier when you realize that DRG is a greedy company. They wouldnt even bother sending back anyone for the remains because there would be a high chance of failing.(No profit)

Nothing can physically destroy a minehead so it must have been what Carl had died too if it can single handedly destroy both deretta and the minehead it must have something to big to be killed or be left alive on hoxxes it could have been a fully grown hivegaurd and its sentinels that where down there
As stupid as it may sound, this animation really highlights the potential DRG has for some dark story telling/lore. Theres hundreds, maybe even thousands of other crews out there. And most of them probably dont make it back from hoxxes for a multitude of reasons.
Could make a really dark story about the corporate soullesness of DRG and how the dwarves are treated like disposable machinery.
Any ways this animation is the best drg one yet.

This is giving me so many ideas! Imagine a story where a dwarf gets left behind and his gear is broken, and the rest of the team assume he is dead. He clings on to life eating bits of Glyphid, making weapons from carapaces, and eventually making a home for himself deep in hoxxes, forgotten by DRG. Eventually becoming one with the ecosystem after surviving for years, it feeling like more of a home than the space rig. Until one day a drop pod lands and a team of dwarves emerge, willing to destroy everything he has made for a few buckets of gold...
i hope one day his team find him
I kinda imagine this scout wearing the (dlc) glyphid armor set by the next time DRG finds him again, living in Doretta's carcasse as a home.

Daily warthog hate, pump action is maybe the best OC, but it has a slow fire rate and barely one shots a grunt
