I have always said it that the beach and the ocean puts Atlantic City way above Las Vegas, at least for me and the fact that it is only an hour or so away also helps. I like Las Vegas too but a whole different experience and takes a whole lot more money to spend time in Las Vegas. Thanks for those views of the ocean and beach and from the Claridge and the Tropicana Pool Area. Happy Birthday Jackie!
Thank you so much! I have to agree. Vegas takes a lot more effort! The beach in AC is a winner for me. The sunsets and the sunrises are amazing. I live walking down the boardwalk too Vrs the strip and not worrying so much about taxis and cars plowing you down lol thanks for sharing!

Hello Jennifer, ty again for your good job! ( sorry if I don't write good, im a French Canadian leave in Montreal). As I wrote to you some week ago, like you im a lover of AC. Im turning 60 this summer and I go over there since I was 6 years old!!!!!! You know, I never try a cruse over there but next time for sure im going to try it! I love all your suggestion and I'll try at my next visit. I think im going to be there in fall. Iv never go over there at this time and id like to try it. Every time I go there we stay at the resort. PS we had a beautiful day at the beach saturday but man was that water cold. we are used to the panhandle of florida beaches (Destin, Panama city beach) in the gulf so yeah it was chillyyyyyy

What a beautiful togetherness for you and your sister,❤! Where did you stay at back when you were little? Every year we would stay a couple of days in Atlantic City at Colton Manor on Pennsylvania Ave. It is a parking lot now 😢. Your calming and informative vlogs made us feel like we were enjoying the birthday celebration too!

Hi from south georgia. Sorry we missed you because we left on the 30th as you were coming in. rats! We based our trip on your videos and had a blast including my wife getting her first hand pay, at Borgata so it was worth the uber over from the Tropicana lol. We LOVED Carmines (lasagna) and boy was it plenty for 3 or 4 like you said let alone 2 people. We love your content so keep it up.

It was always a good place, but now it's in a different location @ Tropicana. IDK why it moved to the new spot, since they just renovated the previous location and it was so beautiful and classy!
Love your videos Jennifer. I have a players unity card from Hard Rock AC. Other than using it in the slot machine how do I accumulate points for comps?
Thank you so much! When I stay at hard rock I use my room charge for everything I purchase. If you are not staying there you can still give your server your players card for extra points for your status 😊 helps me get comp rooms 👍

Hi Jennifer. Just found your channel few weeks ago and love it. we go to AC a few times a year. I live in enfield CT and and going again with my sisterinlaw and husband who live in Shelton. I am very curious as to why you travel on Tappen ZEE to AC and not GWB? Any specific reason. I know GWB is like a combat zone at 6AM when I cross it. I want to learn from your experiances on traveling to AC. How much longer is the Tappen ZEE then GW? do you take 84 west onto the Tappen ZEE? Anything you can share will be greatly appreciated. We are going to AC again July 17 to 21, and again August 7 to 11. If you are in AC any of those days my wife and I would love to say HI! we stay at Hard Rock and also go to Borgata. Again, love your channel and hope to hear back from you on the Tappen ZEE. Thanks, John
Hello! That’s funny I live in Shelton too! That’s great you have 2 upcoming trips! I’m def hoping to get there in the next few weeks. Not sure when yet. I started driving to AC myself 2 years ago and I was deathly afraid of driving over a bridge as big and fast and furious as GWB. I felt the Merritt to Hutchinson to Tapenzee bridge to garden state seemed comfortable for me. It’s only about a 15 mins difference but it’s smooth sailing. Most traffic is in CT believe it or not. I try to travel between 10-2 to beat all of the commuters and it works great. Usually takes 3 1/2 hours from Shelton. I’m beginning to enjoy the ride. Pop in some good tunes and enjoy the quiet time.
