I had a dream that I had a whole garden surrounded by these & I had to look it up. Thank you for showing me that it is possible so I can now make that dream a reality.
Thank you for this video. I have been trying to find one for rocks.
Really good tip with the white in between colors. Beautiful results. Love your method of pouring.
Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely beautiful!!! Being a rock, Crystal, and gem collector my entire life I really appreciate this one!!!
In Not Of This World Thank you very much! I throughly enjoy the different effects of acrylic pour on rocks. They have a marbled look to them. Thanks for watching!
Amazing, Cathy!!! I always wondered how this was done and now I know. Fantastic video. Thank you!
Robert Kimball Thank you Bob! That means a lot coming from such a talented artist.
Very pretty!
You’re a kind sole
Think you mean soul. She is definitely not the bottom of a shoe. :)
Good work. ---Dave...
Dave Meinhaldt Thank you! And Thank you for watching.
What is your cell activator? Great video. Thank you
What kind of coating would you recommend to make the weatherproof?
How do I find more videos from Cathy?
Beautiful results! What is the little stand that you have under some of your displayed rocks? Looks like a tiny rock?
cathy your rocks are totally beautiful and i was wonder how you get those rocks together and are able to stand up
Hi Susan, I’m not sure that I understand your question.
How do you make the little stands for your rocks?
How necessary is the torch that I see you using in your video?
I almost fell off my chair! Acrylic rock pouring, oh my gosh!! I can't wait to create my own :)
Question: when you say "bleach the rock" how exactly do you do this? Pure bleach or diluted?
Leighla Young I just add a small amount of bleach with dish soap into the sink or container that you are using to wash the rock/rocks. Thank you for watching!!
Beautiful but how do you finish off the back where the prongs are? And I knew those would come in handy some day.
Cindy Solly The pizza savers leave very small marks. I cut any excess that there might be with a small pair of curved scissors. When the rock is completely dry a light sanding with some fine sand paper if needed. If you feel like it is needed you can dab a little paint on the marks.
What about the bottom?
I just discovered those pizza thingies for acrylic pouring! Great minds 😍
Susan Richey Yes! Who would have thought. Those “pizza things” would ever serve any other purpose other then keeping the cheese on our pizza and not the box!! Thanks for watching.
@@cathyllewelyn8664 how much pizza do you get delivered for those pizza savers? :)
thank you for this video. I am intimidated by the size of canvas but think I could handle a rock. The rocks in the video appeared to be the size of a large baking potato. Is there a particular sealer that is applied to keep the beauty of the pour when hiding these outdoors? TIA.
RJ Rauen I apologize for not responding to your question. I literally do not receive notifications. You can use any sealer rated for outdoor exposure. I use resin on my finished product.
May I ask the ingredients and amounts? What ratios? I didn't fully understand first part. Thank you and great video.
I don’t eat much pizza...wonder if they’ll sell me a few of them???
Also, be sure you save the dried puddles of paint to make things from them...dried acrylic paint is a sheet of plastic! I cover my work surface with a sheet of freezer paper, and the dry paint peels right off!
on amazon i checked for pizza box spacers ` can get 50 for 8 bucks that should last awhile : )
Pamela Dake Hi Pamela, I order the pizza savers from Amazon.
