- This is a drum cover of Interpol's song "PDA," which can be found on their album "Turn on the Bright Lights."
All of the drum audio in this video, save for the count-in at the beginning, is mine. I used the original master track for this video with the original drum audio removed.
I chose this song for my first drum cover to post on CZcams primarily as I could use a real backing track, allowing me to have my recorded drum audio be heard clearly and not compete with the song's drum audio. Also, it makes for a good mic test.

I dunno why the drumming technique police are all over this dude hassling him about his playing style, his recording mic setup etc... its just a youtube clip of a guy jamming to a song he likes - whats the problem? - play drums the way u wanna play them man. I think you did a great job. Pretty tidy kit too... though I love Sabians myself. Nice clear audio, clear video, nice angle and pretty on time playing. Better than many could do... keep it up!

omgosh how do drummers NOT get tired after playing a song, especially the doubletime drummers and double bass where they have to preform extreme metal songs for an hour in gigs?! wow. . .
Practice ? You can go from never drumming to playing this song in less than a year no problem. I did..
I just play it every day and try new fills. 😂
My issue is, how the hell did you get your snare to have that low hum to it? I've never heard of that before, but it sounds like it's perfectly tuned to play this song!

@angelicbaby92 That's a great question! I've been playing for a year and I can play for about three hours now without getting tired. It takes hours of practice though!
