Ohtani is a gotdamn beast.

I can't stop watching this man. Been a baseball fan more than 40 years, never seen the like.
Me too
Same here
Ohtani is the greatest athlete ever. Period
As someone who has been a baseball fan and player for over 30 years, I almost don't believe Shohei Ohtani is a real person. I grew up loving and playing the game all the way to college. I played with and against some people that became pro baseball players. The amount of work that goes into being a big league pitcher is INTENSE. Drills, massages, training, recovery time, it takes a lot out of you to throw a ball as hard as you can for 6-9 innings every 5-7 days. The fact that he goes out, pitches a full game and goes out the very next day to DH and steal bases legitimately doesn't seem real. It doesn't make any sense, if you know baseball. We are all witnessing something happening right now that we at some point in our history collectively decided as a country was not possible at the Major League level. We thought after Babe Ruth that we'd never see anything like that again. But he's here. We are witness. Appreciate this while it's happening, we may very well not see another player like him in our lifetimes.
Best player we will EVER see. Enjoy
amen!
Ohtani is literally the definition of Most Valuable Player. He also set a bunch of records this season people just don't talk about them. Judge is amazing but shohei is the most valuable player.
The current way the MLB calculates WAR and which stats determines an MVP for a season is not calibrated for a baseball player like Shohei Ohtani (which is okay because he's an extreme minority, a unicorn). However, this man is the most valuable player in the truest sense.
Yeah he should've been mvp this year...
We are privileged to live in the world where Shohei is playing baseball.
Superhuman, and a very nice guy.
Yes. My love ❤️
I started watching baseball again because of him ❤

I always liked playing baseball but now I'm invested in it because of him. I was more of a basketball guy
Ohtani is by far the best player I’ve ever seen. And it’s really not that close.
Best baseball player of all time

@@MLB_Daily drug user ? Dude can’t even go into HOF
@@Iverson8811 💀 every single person in that era use peds, and also, he never actually tested positive for peds so there’s that. And how can shohei be the best player of all time if he’s barely played 4 years in the league? And I’m an angels fan.
@@MLB_Daily not Griffey Jr

Legend🐐
The best part was he was playing at this level in Japan without even studying stats. And I'm so glad you included the clip where he nailed a ball to the roof of the stadium with his sheer power. He was a literal anime over there. I'm glad the mlb exists to push him to even greater heights as he began to study his opponents and hone his craft.
the only reason not more people are praising this UNICORN is because he's not playing for the yankees or red sox
And because all who don't want to acknowledge and appreciate this Japanese🇯🇵 MONSTA are a bunch of the typical racists especially toward the Asians. Yes, it's true and d@mn true!!
the sports world is ruled by different men...hockey is a white man sport...the blacks have taken over basketball...while latinos are dominating baseball...the world cannot accept an asian man taking over a single sport...since asians are viewed as push-overs or too soft...but there is a clear bias against asian athletes...which is a shame
Babe Ruth couldn't sustain it for more than 1.5 seasons. Babe Ruth didn't have the level of competition. This guy is a once in a lifetime. My son and I are in love with baseball again.
He makes watching baseball fun.
Whatever team he's on is my favorite
Hahaha for reals!!! Except if he goes to the Yankees. 😂
Shohei is by far the real superstar in every meaning no doubt.
He brought me back to the baseball world.
Shohei is like a create a player in the video games. Hitting power set to max, pitching accuracy set to max. Difficulty on rookie or normal. What a guy. what a master of the sport.
Never forget MLB robbed Ohtani of his second MVP by deliberately ignoring his achievements and feeding Judge juiced balls. Where's the lawsuit? A league fixing matches is A-OK in the good ol' USA?!
He wasn’t robbed, they never juiced Judge’s balls, it’s that Judge had more achievements and better batting stats, and also contributed more wins to the team, Judge was worth 11 and shohei was worth 8, and don’t say it was because of the bad team around shohei, look at judge, the only protective guy in the lineup for him is rizzo, and maybe Stanton, and shohei has trout, Walsh, fletcher, ward, and rendon when he’s healthy. So stop, get some help.
mlb by itself didn't but so called journalists. and no worry, mlb mvp is no longer worthy lol.
@DK 💯💯💯!!
@@MLB_Daily Judge has a WAR of 10.6, Ohtani is 9.6. But WAR can’t measure a player like Ohtani. The Angels won 16 games this season with Ohtani pitching (15 w, 1 nd). In those 16 wins, Ohtani had a sub 1 era and 1.3 runs per game. Not a math genius, but that looks like he’s responsible for 16 wins only on games he pitches alone. If anyone watched the whole Angels season, it’s not unreasonable to come to the conclusion that without Ohtani, the Angels lose 100+ games. Sorry, Ohtani is the MVP.
@@kitman4314 that math is too hard for casuals to grasp...lol.
If he can keep this level of production up long term he could very well go down as the greatest baseball player of all time, or at least a top 5. It’s ridiculous what he’s doing and truly inspiring, he will reignite a love for baseball in young kids and adults alike that hasn’t been seen since the 90s/early 2000s
This was a fantastic video by the way. Great job.
WBC楽しみだな〜
大谷翔平は新たな道を切り開いた。そしてそれに続く選手は必ず生まれてくると信じている。日本に限らず、他の国から出てくるのがとても楽しみだ。
Shohei Otani has paved a new path. And I believe that players will surely follow in his footsteps. I am very much looking forward to seeing them not only from Japan but from other countries as well.
I disagree. What Ohtani is doing is hard, like really hard. So many things have to go right in order for someone to repeat this that it most likely won’t happen. Let’s not categorize his achievements only to opportunity to play 2 way, he is super special.
@@tnleung1 Yes, I partially agree with you there. I don't know if you have access to Japanese TV NHK -- I think they have streaming service -- they had an interview with Ohtani post-season, I think after the world series, where he says when asked about qualifying for both the batting and ERA titles, he says, "In terms of doing both, I personally don't think we need to aim for both. These qualifications are for players who specialize in batting, or specialize in pitching. So I think there can be many different styles of two-way players. I personally don't think there are certain things that you have to do, like you have to do this and that. I wouldn't be surprised to see more styles, like playing as a field player and then pitching as a closer, or playing first base and then pitching as a reliever, and then coming back to first base. So I don't think there's anything that says that you have to qualify for both."
give it up for sho-time ohtani
私はアメリカ国民に感謝しています
大谷翔平を公平に評価してくれていること
多くの日本国民は賛同しています

日本から 🇯🇵🇺🇸
Not all Americans appreciate or even acknowledge what Ohtani Shohei has done, does, and will do successfully like no one else has ever done before and will ever do again.
Yet, Shohei will just keep making and paving the new history of baseball ⚾️ by himself. He doesn't need any validation from those idiots and racists out there. (Meanwhile, someone else like Aron Judge will just keep chasing after the history of the other homerun records.)
I have a big crush on showtime Shohei. 😍💖💖💖
Unbelievable performance by one special player. He deserved to have a better support from the Angels organization that have Mike Trout too. Hopefully, soon. Otherwise, Trout and Ohtani should be traded to a team that has a chance to win the Championship so many people can have a chance to see this players for the post season.
Ohtani special
this guys an alien.
Shohei
Shohei is the greatest athlete on this Earth he broke 42 records Aaron judge broke one tell me who's better
Angels deserve an elite owner. Mike Trout and Ohtani are two of the best and their talents are being squandered… travesty
6foot+ Jacked/speed runner Japamnese dude who hits and pitches, either he got hacks on or ez mode. the best ever. this is like being a superstar in 2 sports at the same time
Aaron judge isn't even close to the player that Shohei is Aaron judge broke one record shohei broke 42 records tell me who's MVP
At 13:07, "I'm not suggesting Shohei is superior to Babe Ruth..." - oh but he is! (with all respect to the babe)
This Guy is Playing at BABE RUTH level Baseball. WOW ......
It's 1Baseman Time For Shohei Ohtani
Huh are you slow?
??? Why? He already has the outfield as a secondary and plays DH, you don’t need him to play first base.
@@MLB_Daily I Do Need Ohtani At 1BASE Because Tyler Anderson Is Taking His Place At The Pitching
@@kennybegeske8824 bruh Tyler Anderson isn’t taking his place lol
No way, I love that he is a pitcher... I predict he will win 20 games in a season, and probably hit 40 HR's the same season.
Babe Ruth didn't even play against the best players in his time. And a majority of his feats are just tales. Shohei clears.
Shohei Ohtani Needs To Get A 1Baseman Mitt
Ah yes, the guy playing two positions already needs to pick up a third one. The trolls are getting dumber by the day. I suppose you expect that juiced-ball fed fraud Judge to hit 129 HR next year and Verlander to have an ERA of 0.5 right? 🤡
no he doesn’t lmao
