Whether its street food favorites like Pav Bhaji, Sandwich or Desi Chinese gems like Paneer Chilli and Gobi Manchurian or even Pizza, you can find them all in Mumbai's typical fast food restaurants. They also serve good Indian food main course like Paneer, Naan, Kulcha, Dal and more. I shot this video in Classic Restaurant in Matunga, Mumbai and its a place that I love and have been visiting since so many years. Wow, imo, your channel is by far the best mumbai channel I've seen. The fact that you were raised up in Mumbai makes it more interesting. We always come to Mumbai twice every year since 2013 on account of medical checkup. Don't expect much for such delicious food because in Pakistan the prices of vegetables are at sky so only pray for twice a meal for a day for yourself and don't see such dreams because it's never gone fulfill.

Pav bhaji and sandwich has been my all-time favorite and classic tastes very authentic even their north Indian dishes are yummy. I think one of the few places in Matunga for so much of variety in food. DP's pav bhaji is also too good. Matunga is blessed with different cultural food.

Agreed on the pizza! The desi pizza has its own charm. After all the Domino's , Pizzahut, Italian pizzas I really crave the basic desi pizza sometimes! ❤️

I graduated from VJTI in 1990s and still visit classic for pav bhaji and roasted papad on Sunday afternoons. The tawa pulav is very popular. But never knew that Mexican , pizza , Punjabi dishes here are still popular. Apart from all the Idli dosa joints this one has remained popular. I am diabetic but for desert , I will walk to dairy don outlet on King circle.

Hello,
Yes Classic is indeed a classic place.
Been around for over 35+ years I guess. Next time you are there I recommend these -
a) Jain Masala Pav - extra masala - with Onions - trust me this is better than non-jain regular wala masala pav BUT MUST HAVE ONIONS WITH IT. Pack the pavs with finely chopped onions and put a lot and lots if lime. Have it with Thumbs Up.
b) Butter Idli - for the sheer amount of original Amul they put.
c) Veg Pizza / Cheese Capsicum Pizza - Udipi style pizza at its best.
d) Butter Sada Kadak - again another amazing one.
e) Mexican Rice - yes something nice & it is nice here.
For Chinese - DP's is better for me.
Roti sabzi is fast fud ......wow never new
