A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME…
My name is Dennis aka Lao Ocean (also aka Dr. Wtpho, but more about that later) and I'm a Lao American CZcamsr based in Seattle, WA (since 1980). I do different things, including I’m a Creative Director for Seattle based Pom Foundation, a non profit group that strives to transmit, preserve and promote Lao culture through the arts.
My videos and vlogs consist of Seattle and Pacific Northwest content, food and product reviews, and travel. I drink way too much coffee and eat pho 20PHO7!

I love flowers. I live in WA state all my life and I've never seen the Skagit Valley Tulips. It sucks to go somewhere alone when you're single and have no friends.

Tulips are my absolute favorite flower!! So pretty 😍
Dennis, you did an outstanding job of capturing the vivid color of the tulip fields. Welcome to the "north sound". I was at the very same location the following Wednesday (they stayed open several extra days past the posted "season" due to the flowers were still in full bloom). Because it was past the scheduled season, there were relatively few people there, but you really captured the color even with the camera you had. There were several groups of teen girls modeling for professional photographers in the fields.
I live in WA state all my life and I've never been to the Skagit Valley Tulips. I live in Puyallup.
Pay them a visit next year!
The best time to visit is during the week vs. the weekend. It can get really crowded and traffic jams.
Visiting the town of LaConner or Deception Pass are other things to see.
