Back when Koalifying was a certain torture for any foul up. And, you didn’t go to Ranger School until at minimum 6 months, more than likely 12-18 months.
I was in the 1st Ranger BN when this aired on Discovery. I had heard it was B Co. 3/75--the same company a year later would be in the Black Hawk Down Battle of Mogadishu.
Ranger school doesn’t make you a ranger graduating RASP at this time it would have been RIP makes you a ranger but all the NCOs and officers would have gone through ranger school
75th RR falls under USASOC for Admin , Training, and logistics. Once they go fwd. they fall under a Tier 1 3 star level command. “The Tab is a school....The scroll is a way of life.”

The 75th Ranger Regiment has nothing to do with Ranger School. Ranger School falls under TRADOC, the 75th Ranger Regiment falls under JSOC.

No. But to be an officer or an NCO in the 75th Regiment, you need to graduate from Ranger School.
