- At the 2021 Eggs on the Hiawassee River rally in May we were able to tour several newer model molded fiberglass campers so we thought we'd share those with you. It isn't often you get to see all of these in one place so we took the opportunity to capture them on video. The campers we toured were the new 2021 Snoozy II, a 2021 Escape 5.0, a 2020 Escape 19, a 2022 Oliver Legacy Elite II and a 2021 Bigfoot 25RQ. While these five fiberglass campers are similar because of their molded fiberglass construction, they are all different in style and sizes. Enjoy the tours!

►2021 Lance 975 - We got our new 2021 Lance 975 from Chattanooga Fish n Fun in Hixson, TN in August 2020. After looking at several models, we decided on the Lance 975 (Check out Brad's channel from Chattanooga Fish n Fun, he gives great, thorough overviews of some really nice boats and campers.)

The Oliver is a beautiful technological marvel, but the Bigfoot 25RQ is the one for me. LOVE it. Escape 5.0 gets honorable mention too.

When looking for trailer I was quickly drawn to fiberglass. Thanks for showing so many options ! Recently picked up my Oliver. Aside from construction the interior design sold me. Not for everyone but perfect for my needs. Plus it tows really nice.
I like the Big Foot. They have the big refrigerator and freezer.
Thanks for the great video! After 2 smaller fiberglass trailers we decided we would be more comfortable in the Bigfoot 25’ rear queen model. It’s so easy to make the bed now with the walk around space! We are more than pleased with the overall quality, all the windows and the DRY bath. I hope we can make it to that rally sometime in the future.

I sure like my Bigfoot 25C10.4 truck camper. Very solid construction inside and out, plus it's a great floor plan. After owning a camper with the traditional corner and roof seems for 27 years, fiberglass molded construction is the way to go.
We agree! We'd probably own a Bigfoot 25C10.4 if Southland hadn't sold it before we got that back before we got our Lance Last year. The only problem with that one for us was the bed length but it's something that we probably could have gotten past, I don't think it was a dealbreaker. Anyway, thanks for watching! ~Carla

I pull a 40’ solitude with massive storage and wonderful recliners 60’ tv but man these are just great great looking wonderful trailers.

I LOVE the escape 5.0! I have a 2011 Lil Snoozy and its just so easy and cheap to tow.
Im a happy owner of an escape 5.0. Love it. Great quality sooooo much nicer quality than the stick built crap coming out of elkhart.

They gotta make a solid off road version with 15" or 16" wheels and three slides like the Highland Ridge Open Range model that was discontinued back in 2017. It was awesome! It was about 22 foot long and 100 inches wide. It had a side slide on each side and a rear slide. I'd also put nothing smaller than a 100 gallon fresh water tank and 60 gallon black and 60 gallon gray tanks. I'd also put an extremely strong roof that was 100% reflective full walk on. I place 99.9% reflective house wrap on my travel trailer roof whenever parked in the full sun for a while and the interior remains at least 10 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than without it. Of course only use lightweight solid non-water permeable countertops and stainless steel sinks. The main entrance door also must have a fully functioning matching window that opens and closes with screen, not those typical disgusting solid milky bathroom shower door type windows that are or were so common. Let's make it happen together. We can end the cheap junk that's so often being made and sold. God Bless, happy and safe RVing 🌞💦🏊♀️🏊♀️🏊♀️🏊♀️

Hi guys! I subscribed as I love your videos! I lived in a class c motorhome way back in late 90s. Also had a pop up truck camper. If I didn't tow the bigfoot 25 behind a diesel hd and a high fiberglass cap for garage space would be the ticket
We looked at the Bigfoot 25 on the website. Beautiful rig but, wow, 80K! The only thing that made me nervous was the holding tanks appeared to be exposed underneath.

I love the Snoozy II. Just trying to figure out where to store items. Wish the wet bath were a little bigger but not a deal breaker.
I like the Snoozy II, except for the wet bath. I've never liked the concept, or the cassette toilet. Personally I'd rather have a hook-up only toilet (no tank), or just delete it all together and add more storage, which the Snoozy is in need of.

Hey there Todd and Carla ! , great video as always. Regarding the Big Foot trailer, I know you'll have owned a few of them already. Any major problems ? Can you share any experience you may have had with "customer service" if any? One last thing, thinking about a 25 foot RQ, towing vehicle would be a 2015 F150 with the 5.0 L V8, and tow package from factory, in your experience would it suffice ? Thanks.
They have to insulate that fiberglass really well otherwise it is not good

Being an Okie , I enjoyed seeing the OU hat hanging in the , I believe that was the Escape 19 ? The BigFoot 25RQ was my favorite trailer . Do you have to go to Canada to buy one ? Thanks much for the tours , they are all sweet set ups !

Is it legal to ride in any camper while being towed?
I am not 100% sure but I don't think it is legal. It may be different if there is a pass through from the cab but I"m not sure.
Would love to have seen the latest model of Casita.
The generator is very distracting! I wouldn’t want to stay there with all of that noise. It’s not peaceful and when I go camping I need that peace and quiet .
can you tow that 5 th wheel with a short bed truck ?
The Bigfoot is great, but the bathroom door design just doesn't fit in the overall look in my opinion.

@@ralphp3057 scamp is the name of a manufacturer that makes relatively inexpensive fiberglass travel trailers.
My beef is--or at least it seems to me so far--that you get one of TWO options. the first is a lot of money for TOTAL JUNK. Screws backing out, and such within 2 years, total junk. Option two, nice but three prices for one unit. I admit I may have it wrong, but that is how it strikes me. Right now, I opt for option THREE, stay in a hotel, much cheaper for as seldom as we actually go anywhere.

I'm curious about the price point on the big foot.
$65,000 without many options, $75,000 well equipped (solar, twin bed option, electric operated awning, etcetera).
Im putting my own led lights and Graphics I 2005 Sierra forest river Silver Eagle fifth wheel remodel already super condition restore make even way better make it my own...Nice to see others 24ft I have I also put max Air fans and Vent covers on only the best for this old baby 55 inch tv washer dryer big shower bathroom in the middle before bedroom propane electric everything new huge electric awning I not done there new Dometric everywhere!!! Led lights thru out including led strips for max lighting Amazon Alexa heat air Alexa im going all out in the thing I care most about(MY HOME) It gets the best...next new blinds maybe have electric blinds too...taking out water tank put 100 gallon when I did title I paid for more weight

You missed the Scamp trailers! All these fibreglass trailers that you show use too much wood inside = too much weight. Scamps hold their value because they are easily towed by smaller vehicles - you don’t need a monster truck to haul a Scamp. The first trailer in the review doesn’t even have a propane system - so no boondocking. How do you keep a 120V fridge cool while driving down the road?
