Hey Brittany, missed you. There are several ways to mod podge and get good results. One is using glue. I usually put mod podge on the surface and then spritz my paper with water. It lays down perfectly without any wrinkles. Your fall bag is just too cute!

Yes it is smooth with card stock and scrapbook paper. I also sand edges and it really looks like one piece. I still use modpodge with my napkins or materials ❤️. ☺️
Oh okay awesome thank you so much. Will definitely be trying!! Hopefully I do it right lol. I recently got some clear laminate and have been going and forth on just gluing down designs instead of hand painting so that will make it just that much easier. #HandPaintingTakesSoooLong lol
