Teresa was a small-time hood who primarily operated in bookmaking and fencing “hot goods” in the greater Boston area, largely in the Italian-American enclaves of Revere and East Boston. His two books “Vinny Teresa’s Mafia” and “My Life in The Mafia” are good reads if you can find them-the books have been out of print for years.

The place was called Arthurs Farm it was a little shack of a place on RT1 in Revere Ma everything they sold out of there was "HOT" at the time 8 track car stereos were the big thing your car would get broken in they take the player bring it to Arthurs for $20.00 bucks or so they sold it it for back for $40.00 the building is still there today though it no longer sells "HOT STUFF"

@@johnbettano6026 Yes, you are 100% correct about finding “good buys” ie “hot goods” at Arthur’s Farm in Revere, Ma. during the 60’s/70’s. In fact, a few members of the Boston Patriots (precursor to the NFL New England Patriots) got reprimanded by the old AFL league office for shopping at Arthur’s-no criminal charges were ever brought by the da’s office against any of the players, but Life Magazine did an expose piece on the players frequently shopping at the mobbed-up location. There was also a mobbed-up fruit/vegetable stand about a half a mile away from Arthur’s Farm on route 1a in Revere right by St Anthony’s church called “Bruno’s Fruit” that had a “backroom” with “special merchandise” suits/tv’s/radios etc at bargain prices for loyal customers. The good old days in greater Boston.

@@johnbettano6026 Down here in Dixie there are little fly-by-night places, 90% of the time kinda out in the sticks - they'll have a bunch of worthless junk and some NICE speakers for sale. One time 20 years ago I found one of these places way out in Etowah County, AL. They had some rusty tools, a box of old country and gospel LPs, some fairly nice car stereos, and a big stack of 7.62x25 for $2 a box. I bought a couple of boxes and headed home. Thank God I checked the ammo out on the net before I used it. It turned out to be VERY hot-loaded Czech subgun ammo, and it might have blown my Tokarev up.
