- Jump starting the Subaru WRX STI and testing out the Genius Boost Sport GB20 from Halfords at the same time.. after a long winter it's time to bring the scoob out of hibernation. Fair to say this little box is impressive!

As a woman living in the cold, this thing has saved me plenty.
That's actually mad how it fired straight up from absolutely nothing on the battery! Definitely an essential. Also, more Scoob ASAP please! Good video lads
Jay Did This yeah so crazy! Literally not a drop of power in it and first time started! Plenty of scoob this summer mate 🌀
I bought one of these to jump start a scooter I had that had some electrical demons and it would jump start the battery 5 times from full charge no problem every time. Can't recommend it enough and it will work with anything up to a 2.0L engine (probably a bit more too but a 2.0L is what it's built up to).
You guys work really well together looking forward to what the future holds for you
Alex Toon thank you man! Means a lot
Ive seen these before but never really given them any thought. This is a must have bit of kit for any car. A very good and informative video guys, well done.
TunedR thanks for the feedback! Yeah we were totally surprised by the results. Definitely peace of mind for the boot!
Good video guys. I am getting one now. Thanks for the review.
Quality bit of piece of mind that 👍
Dan AYP exactly!
Big love ❤️
Thanks for the vid.. Was on the fence.. Will probably pick one up just to keep handy..
Wirenfeldt1990 thanks for watching man, well worth it!
Quite a cool little thing to have handy in a car
CATALYTIC AUTOSPORT definitely, you never know when you may need one!
Nice review lads. Nice car as well!
Thanks man!
i love the noco boost 20, had one for 2 years, the torch in the dark is like really useful, trying to find bonnet release, battery terminals, you get the drift.
Life saver isn’t it!
@@RODEBLOCTV 26 year old Toyota Starlight, only drive every 2-3 months, frickin battery is always low/flat. btw My father-in-law owns Ford 1930s trucks, tried to help someone stuck with a brand new 2022 truck, flat battery: they couldn't frickin find it! Called the dealer, it's behind inaccessible panels. Tow. for a flat battery. Nuts.
Ah scoob content got a classic myself 😎
H F nice mate got to love a classic scoob 💙😎
If the led lights start running you do not have to press the red button, it’s an override button and leave it for 30s before starting, I have the same model and sometimes my car will not fire up if you try it straight away it just takes life out of the noco
What was that second gadget you used to charge thw battery up?

is there a video on the halfords trickle charger you use as i'm also in revelation, so you can charge the battery to full once jumpstarted & not have to drive for the alternator to top up for half hour, how does it work & how long do you have to leave the engine on?
We just use a standard trickle charger to keep the battery topped up. If the battery is flat, you can use this to jump it to get going but it does not charge the battery. Once it’s started, you’d then have to do the same as normal with a jump start and go on a drive to get the alternator to put some charge into the battery. This just eliminates the pushing the car down the road whilst freezing your b******s off 👍🏻
I purchased one at half price on a clearance aisle. I'm concerned I may get less life out of it if it was in the store a long time. It is rated up to 4.0L engines. Have used it to start a 4.0L Nissan Xterra and 5.9L Dodge truck.
Mark A impressive coming from such a little thing!
I wouldn’t say no to that scouser giving me a jump start… very handsome 😂 thanks lads I’m gonna buy one now 🤝
I suppose we’ll take that as a compliment mate! 😂
Gay alert ... go girl...
i got one for my car and dirt bike, more for my electric start only dirt bike incase im stuck out on the trails in Canada.
You've done what I've seen many a review channel not; read the instructions and press the red button on a flat battery. lol
Haha thank you man! That’ll be credit to Matt, I’m a wing it guy (Pete)
nice fella
After 2 or 3 Days at minus 10, the GB20 Lost is charge at less than 20%, then charge it at
Hibou-53 X good to know!
Can I jump start a car out the box with it?
Maybe 1 start but it actually charges in about three to 4 hours on a good samsung variable charger
