Baron Corbin being treated like a scapegoat for RAW low ratings was pathetic
Baron Corbin is not the reason for the low tv ratings their tv ratings was down over 2 decades since the 2000s Ruthless aggression had a terrible product why they had low ratings and blackout their areas during the Ruthless aggression in that era they had very low attendances like now I went to a raw event in 2005 they blackout me there
raw seems doing good in the ratings now
The best of the best its a great product now why are they getting under 2 million viewers then back in the day in the attitude era they were get over 6 million viewers since then they lost it all now

I remember when Stone Cold walked out of WWE, I can understand how frustrated he felt with WWE at the time.
According to Jim Ross, not only was he unhappy with the WWE but at the same time he and Debra were fighting with each other and close to getting divorced.
@@DeanMoxley87 tack another year on there to make it 5. He was carrying WWE from mid to late 97 until his walk out. You could argue his popularity was higher than his peers in Summer of 97, but definitely by the time Bret left in November, he was absolutely their top guy.
Didn’t he leave because he didn’t want to put over Brock
@@aleiterful I think that was the last straw for him to actually leave.
@@aleiterful no, he didn’t wanna put him over on a free raw show. He said do it on PPV, they said no
One of my favorites was during a John Cena promo where he said some fans wanted him to learn new moves, maybe even a "heel turn" as he turned on the heel of his foot in the ring. He then said that will NEVER HAPPEN because of all the Make A Wish kids who chose to see him in their last days. As much as I didn't like him before, I respect him SO MUCH for this. Even if it's part of his act, it was real to the HUNDREDS of kids that he met and made life better for, even if just for a day!
Not knocking "Make-A-Wish",. They do good work.
But wouldn't a child's no 1 wish be to be well again, rather than meeting their favourite star.
A child's wish one time should be for a cure.
@Dale Henderson So they get wish number 2, still respect Cena. Think about meeting all those children and knowing done of them are still with us. Unless you are a sadist, that has to mess with your mind.
@@dhenderson1810"Make-A-Wish" kids dont have the *option* of a cure... thats why they get the wish💀
@@paulweston8408 Hey, cancer does mess with my mind.
It's not just children who get cancer though.
I lost a brother to cancer. He was 42. What wish did he get? There are mothers and fathers who have cancer, who will never get to see their children grow up.
Cancer is terrible, no matter what age you get it. It is never good.
It is great that children get wishes fulfilled. I am not taking away from them for one moment. But I sometimes feel older people suffer in silence.
My brother wasn't a child, but he was still too young to die. He had just bought a house (which I shared with him) and was in a good place in. His life. We were best mates as well as brothers. I miss him.
I also lost my father to a heart attack, which I believe was partly due to grief and being "broken-hearted", since he never got over outliving his son. You can still lose a child to cancer, no matter what age they are.
The fact that he didn’t want to acknowledge that he has the most wishes from kids is astounding to me it’s super humble of him.
HHH trolling the fans about Battleground 2014 is iconic.
Like Vince trolling the fans about Royal Rumble 2015. "Fans were unhappy Santa Claus didn't come on that particular PPV" or worse; "they were crying that the babyface did not win", when he was TELLING US that Roman was OUR guy...🙄🙄🤦♂🤦♂
@@tomseville2345He’s not wrong though. Modern wrestling fans are fickle and unpredictable. In one city, the top babyface will get the correct crowd reaction and in another city a week later, the fans can have the complete opposite reaction. Booking has to thread the needle each and every week and hope the crowd responds correctly so it has to be frustrating.
@tomseville2345 you gotta admit tho you still smile when you see "SHATTERED DREAMS" pop up after DB is eliminated 😂

This channel needs to fire it's editor and/or writer. Almost every vid has something wrong with it

Imagine an alternate reality where JR was unable to convince Austin to come back. What would WWE look like? Would it even be around now?

@M.T. Ray Once again It happened that day on Raw hours before they were about to go Live,It wasn’t until the next day on ECW where they corrected their mistake and made sure that murder’s name is never mentioned again on WWE TV.
I remember Stone Cold walking out on WWE. He didn't want to lose to Brock Lesnar in a throwaway match on TV. He wanted a proper feud to build to a pay per view match. He would have put Lesnar over that way.
Which is more than fair
It would've been better if WWE book Steve Austin vs Brock Lesnar in the KOTR finals. They should've do a storyline where Austin's goal is to be the 1st man to win the KOTR twice, and then Lesnar took it away from him.
I love stone cold but that's also not true many veterans lost to talents on Raw/SmackDown like taker lost against edge also he lost against kozlov, Hogan lost against Brock, Cena lost against Nakamura etc.

Surprised that the situation surrounding Chris Benoit and the terrible tragedy caused by him wasn't among these, considering how Vince himself basically cast Benoit's name out of WWE entirely due to what he did
Well, trying to act like someone never existed because of the horrible events at the end of his life is probably the opposite to addressing the elephant in the room. It’s more like covering the elephant with blankets with the conviction that it will disappear.
@@juanramaroto6691 well, that's a valid point, I'll admit. But considering the circumstances, I can at least understand why they took that path. The public relations nightmare in the making was probably avoided by them doing so. My main point was that Vince had addressed it one time in the immediate aftermath, and his reason for doing so was to remove any reference to his name from any future WWE broadcast as well as any future media form (including the games) from that point forward. So in a way, he technically did address it, THEN covered it up in the way you're referring to lol

The Benoit one was the worst because rather than wait for all the facts they put on a tribute show for a man who just killed his family, probably one of WWE's biggest embarrassments
Embarrassing after the fact yes. But timing wasn't on their side they had a show to do and the fans and superstars being in shock the fans were going to expect something. So they put together something quickly. Unfortunate the details came out the following Tuesday morning after the show. I don't fault the wwe on this one. They thought of everyone who loved and cared for them, then the crushing facts came out and needed to address that and I think vince did the best he could with all the emotions he also was also going through. From losing a friend, and amazing talent, probably dealing with backstage talent that loved Chris and his wife and son and consoling them during another tough time. Fans reaching out to the twist from details of the crime to now feeling different emotions on top of that and all the new heat and backlash that came with it.
I remember Triple H briefly addressing the complaints about that particular Katie Vick scene. Acknowledging that several fans vowed to never watch WWE again.
2 Things, First WWE will do whatever to change the narrative instead of fixing the problem. Second calling Brock versus Goldberg a dream match is disrespectful in so many ways.
In hindsight, it was a bad idea calling it a dream match. I think it was common knowledge that Goldberg was leaving back then but Brock's departure coming to light made people not want to care about the match. Lesnar and Goldberg also phoned that match in big time.

Some extra nuggets about Paul Heyman addressing what happened with CM Punk. 1. They were in Chicago and they knew the fans planned to take over the show with CM Punk chants. 2. Everything Paul said was his own work, there was little preparation to this segment. 3. He spun that crowd so freaking expertly he managed to save the whole damn show that night and, as mentioned in the video, started the hype behind Taker vs Lesner.
7:39 this episode of raw also features the debut of one Mark Henr. It also has the infamous segment where stone cold throws the intercontinental title off a bridge.
So Drew McIntyre & Seth Rollins possible leaving the company will be added in this list anytime . Then I understand why Lamia made this topic
Yeah..I think Lamia should've waited for them to walk out then make this video adding them to this list

Would the Chris Benoit situation count in this context? Although they have tried to erase him, for just reasons, they did still address that situation on a show.
Why would they?
I dont blame the wwe on this one it was horrible timing. Between the talent in the back and the fans they had a show to do and the fans were going to expect something. And learning of a death of a beloved guy that the fans loved and even guys in the back. It was all emotions. It wasn't until the following morning when the details came out. The worst thing about the Austin walkout was that he was about set to have programs with Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit, who were moved from Smackdown to RAW specifically because Austin hand-picked them, as one was his complaints was that he was sick of fighting the same guys, and was wanted "new blood" to have matches against
So Guerrero and Benoit change brands, only for the matches to not happen, because Austin walked out.
Those matches could have fast-tracked Eddie and Chris's push in WWE sooner, and then they wouldn't have had to bulk up on steroids to be taken seriously as main eventers (which ultimately lead to tragedy in both cases).
