I'm so sorry for your loss... Read Revelation 21 4.. this is the scripture that The Lord led me to when my father passed. And I hope it will bring you some comfort, the way it did for me. The Bible states that "a wise person thinks a lot about death, while a fool thinks only about having a good time ". And I'm one of those ppl who thinks about death A LOT! It's bc death is one thing that's going to happen no matter what. And I think about everything I do when I do it, throughout everyday...focusing on if I'm be pleasing to God. Bc I don't want to die in mist of my sins. I focus on what's eternal. This earthly life is temporary. And doing worldly things, just to have fun and "live my life to the fullest", is NOT worth my soul going to hell. So Im always looking forward to what Revelation 21 4 says.. it excites me! I cannot wait to be reunited with the ones that has transitioned to the spiritual world before me. Bc I know that death with be no more! Only perfect paradise! I focus on living a righteous life, so The Lord will be glad to welcome me into the Kingdom of Heaven, saying I've definitely done a job well done!!!!!! I pray The Lord will comfort you, and strengthen you during this tough time! He says "He is always close to the broken hearted, those who are crushed in spirit"! So allow The Lord to comfort you! In Jesus Name.. Amen! 🙏🏾🙏🏾
My dad just passed away last night. Jan.13-14 2022. We were so close. His heart stopped in the middle of the night. I feel like mine has too. Please pray for my family. We prayed so much to see if God might show us his mercy and Grace. I don’t want my family to lose their faith, lord forgive me for seeking a sign that we will be together again. @@sophiyabhoire1341 hi 17 days ago I lost my dad and my mom her husband of over 50 years it was unexpected as we were trusting God for his full recovery he was in the hospital for 3 weeks due to Covid we couldn’t see him or say goodbye, we stood on the word and faith for those 3 weeks which God gave us the peace that surpasses understanding he was our comfort as we just dug even deeper with the Lord, fast forward there are no word as I understand what you are going through, God had been our strength as we just continue to draw even closer to Him during this difficult time, there are scriptures for comfort and strength, spend even more time with God now and he will be the one to carry you through. I feel you brother. I lost my wife too to stage 4 breast cancer on December 27, 2023, just a day after your wife. I’ve been crying everyday as I terribly missed her. They say remember the beautiful memories, but no matter how I tried to recall them, those memories are overshadowed by memories of the times when my beloved wife suffered in her last few months, weeks and days. She was all skin and bones, unable to speak, in pain and helpless like a child. It breaks my heart into a million pieces remembering her like that 😢. I know she is now happy in heaven and I know that I will be with her someday but I just miss her so much. I feel so lost and alone without her.
My sister died of cancer at the age of 63 Mar 8/21, then Mar 17/21 my mom at the age of 90 died of cancer the day after my sisters funeral. Knowing they were believers and that they r no longer suffering is very comforting. We will see them again one day. Will miss them but they are WAY better off then we are that is for sure. Happy for them that they are with Jesus.
I am so sorry for your loss. I know the devastating pain of losing a mother. I never felt such pain. I cried a lot, I sang lots of songs of worship to stay in God's presence during all those moments of deep deep sorrow. As you wrote knowing that she was a God loving person with a huge heart for worship it comforts me to believe that she is in a much better place now that in a hospital were she was urge for complications of diabetes and died within 3 days. NOONE saw that coming at all...not like that. I'll never forget that evening on April 26th 2021 when my sister called me to say "mum has passed away" ....DEVASTATING 😭 Let's just pray and be a good help for those going through the lost of a loved ones. God knows they need comfort. It's one thing to guess the pain when someone lose a parent or friend or anybody but it takes another dimension when we've been there ourself. God bless you ! I just lost my husband 11 days ago. I am at a loss. I love him dearly. I prayed for this praying husband back in 2010. I met him in 2011. We married in 2017. I feel like I have lost a part of me that I will never get back for as long as I live. He was so young at 37 when he passed. I pray for strength every single day.
May God's strength be with you. Keep walking with God, seeking him daily. I lost my husband of 20 years. He passed away January 2021. It is still very painful but God has been the source of my strength and He will do that for you.
Losing a spouse is devastating. I learned as much by watching my grandfather. He lost my grandmother in October, 2021. One thing i know is that the Holy Spirit, more than a teacher, is also a comforter. We hold on to the promise of meeting those who sleep in the Lord again at the resurrection, but while we remain in this age, the Holy Spirit is more than able to be your companion and friend...and believe it or not, he can do it so well that you'll forget that you lost a spouse. The Lord is our lover and it isn't his will that we live in unnecessary pain. He loves you and wants to be with you. Rely completely on his holy spirit. My wife passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 53 on the 9th March 2021, to say I was devastated is understatement. The pain of grief is immesse but I found great comfort and hope in the word of God. One example of many is the verse I found highlighted in my wife’s bible which God showed me shortly after my wife passed away, it’s Psalm 17 vs 15 “ BECAUSE I AM RIGHTEOUS, I WILL SEE YOU. WHEN I AWAKE, I WILL SEE YOU FACE TO FACE AND BE SATISFIED” NLT. This is just one of many verses that God revealed to me that have helped me to move forward on my journey with grief. I hope this will be of help and comfort to those who have lost a loved one. 🙏
My father died suddenly and I’m heartbroken. The trauma of seeing him pass i the ambulance unable to do something has crushed me. Oh my goodness I thought I was the only one thinking I am looking forward to the time die and I go back to my Father in Heaven , but also at the same time my heart aches to serve Christ here on earth. My mother died last year and it hurt for a little bit, but then I chose to trust what scripture says and half of my pain is gone, I trust scripture more than the old sayings about death, and I don’t listen to people I listen to God, He heals all wounds, and near to the broken hearted. My friend prayed for me that the Lord heals every part of me that is hurting from the cells, to deep in my subconscious mind, I received that prayer by faith. I want to encourage someone, please listen to what God is saying, He created us and knows how to heal us. I avoid sayings like you never get over grief, I firmly believe you can run away from pain and unending grief when you hold on super tight to God. Everytime I feel like I am missing my mother and I feel like pain is creeping in, I worship, during worship I pray the Lord to remove the residue of grief and pain. I understand my mother is back home and I will see her again.

The Holy Spirit is your comforter. He loves you Sunrise. Losing a parent is devastating. I can't even pretend to understand. But i know one thing for sure, the Lord is our high priest who is not unfamiliar with our afflictions. He understands your pain and he's willing to wipe away the tears. Dedicate your time like Anna in the bible, to simply being with him in worship and the study of the word. Seek to know him as much as he knows him. My husband &I experienced two personaly closel loved ones passing this year, that brought us closer to God & each other. My Dad is dying & thankful he accepted Christ, that gives me relief, that he will be in heaven soon! I'm thankful for how he taught me to survive! & Show me the example of what a husband/dad looks like! A friend of mine of 9yrs was pregnant & both her & the baby are now in heaven. She was known for her love for Jesus!, she had such a beautiful voice that sang about Jesus, through her voice it saved lives & healed. She was an example of a Christian woman & mom to her kids. She lead people to Christ! She prayed for people faithfully! She came along side people & comforted them Even when she was hurting too. These losses has reminded me to not take our loved ones for granted & God!

I lost my twin sister almost three months ago due to an unexpected and tragic accident. She was driving to the school where she taught, along with her son, when her car flipped over. Fortunately, my nephew survived without any injuries, but my sister passed away at the scene. Currently, my parents are taking care of my nephew until his father is able to take over. I miss my sister so much. We used to do everything together and plan our future together. We were so in sync that we could predict each other's thoughts. I don't know how to continue with my life without her. She was not just my twin sister, but also my best friend.

I lost my son last Saturday, 6th (8/6/22) Michael was only 32 years young!! Seizures are lethal, mike was diagnosed with epilepsy,was taking his seizure meds like he was supposed to but had a seizure on 8/1/22,and was found just a little while later,but he went without oxygen for a while and finally his heart stopped beating but the EMTs got his heart back beating and then he was breathing on his own and he was in ICU at Norfolk General Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, but on Saturday the 6th he quit breathing on his own never regained consciousness and he was an organ donor so they had him on life support until they found the donor or recipient, they took his lungs his liver and his pancreas and now there is two separate people that my son lives through right now, he was able to save two people's lives that he did not know, which makes him a hero in my book, he will be forever missed and loved

My Mum died last Saturday and although she was a carnel Christian she was a born again Christian. Hey Ann. How are you? I can't imagine what it's like to lose a child. I just can't truly. The pain is real and true. We have the promise that we will be reunited with those who fall asleep in Christ, but while we remain here the pain is real. But here's a little hope to keep you from sorrowing...the holy spirit is familiar with your pain and he longs so much to be able to comfort you. The bible lets us know that The Holy Spirit is a friend so close that he's closer than a brother...closer than family. It calls him a comforter. You need to do this...run to him with your pain, spend lots of time with him, he understands better than anyone can. You need the strong arm of fellowship from other believers too, but believe me, nothing beats the holy spirit of God. Befriend him closer. He loves you

The hardest thing was going into his house before and after his life celebration, but when I look at his photos when he was alive, it has somewhat helped me, along with much prayer. My wife went to be with the lord jesus recently, I nursed her for almost two years, we had been married for 30 years, at 2 45 am 9th of November, I was prompted to go to her ,she had a hospital bed ,I lowered the bed rail and placed her wedding ring on, that kept sliding off ,I grasped her hand, at 3 25 am ,I looked forward and saw a figure of a man with his back to me ,my wife was holding his hand, at 3 30 she looked back at me healthy and radiant then just way. He was there for me when I had my eye surgery and it was removed. Gary would change my bandages every morning. This old man wasn't always sweet and loving. He could be a mean and cantankerous from time to time. He suffered from cystic fibrosis. I took care of Gary for 5 years. We were room mates. He was a pain and a pleasure. Amen I came across this I lost almost all my loved ones very much alone in my thoughts even my therapy dog passed she was an angel and like my child perfect so well mannered and gentle helped the sick and elderly we visited nursing homes. My Dad died in pandemic alone it's been so hard. My husband died 7 years ago of ALS. As you speak, I am sitting in the ICU listening to my mother sleep after suffering a major brain bleed. I am 58 and blessed to have had my grandparents up until a few years ago. Bc I don't want to die in mist of my sins. I focus on what's eternal. This earthly life is temporary. And doing worldly things, just to have fun and "live my life to the fullest", is NOT worth my soul going to hell. So Im always looking forward to what Revelation 21 4 says.. it excites me! I cannot wait to be reunited with the ones that has transitioned to the spiritual world before me. Bc I know that death with be no more! Only perfect paradise! I focus on living a righteous life, so The Lord will be glad to welcome me into the Kingdom of Heaven, saying I've definitely done a job well done!!!!!! I pray The Lord will comfort you, and strengthen you during this tough time! He says "He is always close to the broken hearted, those who are crushed in spirit"! So allow The Lord to comfort you! My dad just passed away last night. Jan.13-14 2022. We were so close. His heart stopped in the middle of the night. I feel like mine has too. Please pray for my family. We prayed so much to see if God might show us his mercy and Grace. I don’t want my family to lose their faith, lord forgive me for seeking a sign that we will be together again. @@sophiyabhoire1341 hi 17 days ago I lost my dad and my mom her husband of over 50 years it was unexpected as we were trusting God for his full recovery he was in the hospital for 3 weeks due to Covid we couldn’t see him or say goodbye, we stood on the word and faith for those 3 weeks which God gave us the peace that surpasses understanding he was our comfort as we just dug even deeper with the Lord, fast forward there are no word as I understand what you are going through, God had been our strength as we just continue to draw even closer to Him during this difficult time, there are scriptures for comfort and strength, spend even more time with God now and he will be the one to carry you through. Will send prayers your way.

I feel you brother. I lost my wife too to stage 4 breast cancer on December 27, 2023, just a day after your wife. I’ve been crying everyday as I terribly missed her. They say remember the beautiful memories, but no matter how I tried to recall them, those memories are overshadowed by memories of the times when my beloved wife suffered in her last few months, weeks and days. She was all skin and bones, unable to speak, in pain and helpless like a child. It breaks my heart into a million pieces remembering her like that 😢. I know she is now happy in heaven and I know that I will be with her someday but I just miss her so much. I feel so lost and alone without her.

My sister died of cancer at the age of 63 Mar 8/21, then Mar 17/21 my mom at the age of 90 died of cancer the day after my sisters funeral. Knowing they were believers and that they r no longer suffering is very comforting. We will see them again one day. Will miss them but they are WAY better off then we are that is for sure. Happy for them that they are with Jesus.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know the devastating pain of losing a mother. I never felt such pain. I cried a lot, I sang lots of songs of worship to stay in God's presence during all those moments of deep deep sorrow. As you wrote knowing that she was a God loving person with a huge heart for worship it comforts me to believe that she is in a much better place now that in a hospital were she was urge for complications of diabetes and died within 3 days. NOONE saw that coming at all...not like that. I'll never forget that evening on April 26th 2021 when my sister called me to say "mum has passed away" ....DEVASTATING 😭
Let's just pray and be a good help for those going through the lost of a loved ones. God knows they need comfort. I just lost my husband 11 days ago. I am at a loss. I love him dearly. I prayed for this praying husband back in 2010. I met him in 2011. We married in 2017. I feel like I have lost a part of me that I will never get back for as long as I live. He was so young at 37 when he passed. I pray for strength every single day.
May God's strength be with you. Keep walking with God, seeking him daily. I lost my husband of 20 years. He passed away January 2021. It is still very painful but God has been the source of my strength and He will do that for you.

Losing a spouse is devastating. I learned as much by watching my grandfather. He lost my grandmother in October, 2021. One thing i know is that the Holy Spirit, more than a teacher, is also a comforter. We hold on to the promise of meeting those who sleep in the Lord again at the resurrection, but while we remain in this age, the Holy Spirit is more than able to be your companion and friend...and believe it or not, he can do it so well that you'll forget that you lost a spouse. The Lord is our lover and it isn't his will that we live in unnecessary pain. He loves you and wants to be with you. Rely completely on his holy spirit. My wife passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 53 on the 9th March 2021, to say I was devastated is understatement. The pain of grief is immesse but I found great comfort and hope in the word of God. One example of many is the verse I found highlighted in my wife’s bible which God showed me shortly after my wife passed away, it’s Psalm 17 vs 15 “ BECAUSE I AM RIGHTEOUS, I WILL SEE YOU. WHEN I AWAKE, I WILL SEE YOU FACE TO FACE AND BE SATISFIED” NLT. This is just one of many verses that God revealed to me that have helped me to move forward on my journey with grief. I hope this will be of help and comfort to those who have lost a loved one. 🙏
My father died suddenly and I’m heartbroken. The trauma of seeing him pass i the ambulance unable to do something has crushed me.
He had just retired from work and now my mother and father should enjoy life together. Instead he passed away.

Oh my goodness I thought I was the only one thinking I am looking forward to the time die and I go back to my Father in Heaven , but also at the same time my heart aches to serve Christ here on earth.
My mother died last year and it hurt for a little bit, but then I chose to trust what scripture says and half of my pain is gone, I trust scripture more than the old sayings about death, and I don’t listen to people I listen to God,
He heals all wounds, and near to the broken hearted.
My friend prayed for me that the Lord heals every part of me that is hurting from the cells, to deep in my subconscious mind, I received that prayer by faith.
I want to encourage someone, please listen to what God is saying, He created us and knows how to heal us.
I avoid sayings like you never get over grief, I firmly believe you can run away from pain and unending grief when you hold on super tight to God.
Everytime I feel like I am missing my mother and I feel like pain is creeping in, I worship, during worship I pray the Lord to remove the residue of grief and pain.
I understand my mother is back home and I will see her again.

My husband &I experienced two personaly closel loved ones passing this year, that brought us closer to God & each other. My Dad is dying & thankful he accepted Christ, that gives me relief, that he will be in heaven soon! I'm thankful for how he taught me to survive! & Show me the example of what a husband/dad looks like! A friend of mine of 9yrs was pregnant & both her & the baby are now in heaven. She was known for her love for Jesus!, she had such a beautiful voice that sang about Jesus, through her voice it saved lives & healed. She was an example of a Christian woman & mom to her kids. She lead people to Christ! She prayed for people faithfully! She came along side people & comforted them Even when she was hurting too. These losses has reminded me to not take our loved ones for granted & God!

My husband died from covid 6 mos ago. It’s the hardest thing ever, but I know where he is and I can’t wait for the time I get to see him again.
I lost my twin sister almost three months ago due to an unexpected and tragic accident. She was driving to the school where she taught, along with her son, when her car flipped over. Fortunately, my nephew survived without any injuries, but my sister passed away at the scene. Currently, my parents are taking care of my nephew until his father is able to take over. I miss my sister so much. We used to do everything together and plan our future together. We were so in sync that we could predict each other's thoughts. I don't know how to continue with my life without her. She was not just my twin sister, but also my best friend.

I lost my son last Saturday, 6th (8/6/22) Michael was only 32 years young!! Seizures are lethal, mike was diagnosed with epilepsy,was taking his seizure meds like he was supposed to but had a seizure on 8/1/22,and was found just a little while later,but he went without oxygen for a while and finally his heart stopped beating but the EMTs got his heart back beating and then he was breathing on his own and he was in ICU at Norfolk General Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, but on Saturday the 6th he quit breathing on his own never regained consciousness and he was an organ donor so they had him on life support until they found the donor or recipient, they took his lungs his liver and his pancreas and now there is two separate people that my son lives through right now, he was able to save two people's lives that he did not know, which makes him a hero in my book, he will be forever missed and loved

Take comfort in the fact that your son will never suffer another seizure. He is completely healed and in the presence of Jesus.

I can't imagine what it's like to lose a child. I just can't truly. The pain is real and true. We have the promise that we will be reunited with those who fall asleep in Christ, but while we remain here the pain is real. But here's a little hope to keep you from sorrowing...the holy spirit is familiar with your pain and he longs so much to be able to comfort you. The bible lets us know that The Holy Spirit is a friend so close that he's closer than a brother...closer than family. It calls him a comforter. You need to do this...run to him with your pain, spend lots of time with him, he understands better than anyone can. You need the strong arm of fellowship from other believers too, but believe me, nothing beats the holy spirit of God. Befriend him closer. He loves you

He was there for me when I had my eye surgery and it was removed. Gary would change my bandages every morning. This old man wasn't always sweet and loving. He could be a mean and cantankerous from time to time. He suffered from cystic fibrosis. I took care of Gary for 5 years. We were room mates. He was a pain and a pleasure. Papa I called him was 75 years old. I loved him and I now will never hear his voice again. Gary Harvey I love you and may God bless you and hold you in his arms. I love you and miss you. Rest easy darlin Papa. 💔love you much.
I lost my grandfather June 17th of this year on his birthday he was my hero and he was like my father growing up and it’s been really hard this really helped god bless from Fall River Massachusetts ❤️

Yes 👍 there we will see out loved ones again....there are so many verses which encourages about reunion...Paul states in I Thessalonians and 2 ..tat his Pride is on tat day of Christ...to see his church people.. he even states you are my Glory and my Pride on the day of the lord..... Reunion is wat the greatest promise of our Lord Jesus Christ
Amen I came across this I lost almost all my loved ones very much alone in my thoughts even my therapy dog passed she was an angel and like my child perfect so well mannered and gentle helped the sick and elderly we visited nursing homes. My Dad died in pandemic alone it's been so hard. My husband died 7 years ago of ALS. Mom's gone most of my friends I'm not old this is hard I feel grief stricken. 😔 I need to hold on to his word to heal me. Great message thank you.

As you speak, I am sitting in the ICU listening to my mother sleep after suffering a major brain bleed. I am 58 and blessed to have had my grandparents up until a few years ago.
