Andy tagging the ramp mid contest was a wonderful throw back. Obviously all this skating is beyond unreal, but a skater tagging a wooden ramp up against a wall during a contest gave me a very nostalgic feeling! 💚 great video!
Thanks for sharing this man. I grew up in Ventura just a few towns north and we still don’t have a decent skatepark! This was the type of skating we did back in the 80’s 90’s as we could always find a wall somewhere at least.

If you watch the whole video, you would see that he attempts thew exact same thing at least once (pretty sure it was twice, but i'm not re-watching the video for the sake of this comment reply). It was definitely not because "he didn’t have enough speed to get over to the other ramp so went back the other way"... If that were the case, he would have been hitting the quarter at a much more horizontal angle, which he didn't... That is an interesting take on it, though. 😅
but yeah, that's not at all what happened...
