    Great comparison! I really like what XOP is doing. They’re really putting their stamp on the mobile hunting market for sure. With that being said I’d personally just spend another $150 for a USA made product. Now if this stand was in the $300-$350 range that would be a little different conversation imo. When you really think about it we blow $150 probably weekly on crap we don’t need. I’d personally prefer to put my $150 towards supporting manufacturing on USA soil. This is just my opinion which doesn’t mean much lol

      @xopgear Před rokem +4

      Respect your opinion. $150 is not alot for some people, but it is for someone only taking home $150 a day. XOP could eliminate the safety harness and cut out dealers to reach the $300 price point on this, but they they also care about supporting their American dealers as well as promoting safety to tree stand users.

      @@xopgear I like the product you make and sell. But I got a lone wolf custom gear stand and other products for them and I’m hooked on lwcg... xop is great for all people but I spend every weekend in the woods during season and lwcg hasn’t let me down so o need in changing.

    Excellent review as always. I would think the big advantage would be when you compare the sticks of the XOP and the LWCG and what the total overall weight would be for each stand with 4 sticks attached. Both would be great options.

    In my opinion, the orginal Lone Wolf Assault II stands are the best stands ever made. I just cant see spending $500 plus all the upgrades to get the conveniences that either of these stands offer. The difference in weight or convenience is not enough for me. I will not see more or kill more big bucks using either of these stands as compared to my Assault II stands. Both are great stands, but are luxury items.

  • @michigangrownoutdoors7254

    I was noticing that there’s more platform leveling in the lwcg stand than the XOP. The XOP looks like it wouldn’t hang on a tree that has a backward lean. I’m not sure how that wasn’t mentioned here. So sure it’s all a system but you need to have versatility in a mobile stand. It looked like when you were on the ground, to get the XOP post straight you had it on the bottom setting, and then for the lwcg stand it was like the second down? Or some where around there.

    • @AERIALASSAULT1
      @AERIALASSAULT1  Před rokem +2

      Well we don't always cover every single aspect in a review. Sometimes we miss some things incidentally. The stand does angle down some at the lowest setting but not as far as the lwcg. But you already know this bec you've ranted about it on Facebook how many times? And honestly I don't care what you think of one stand compared to the other, I tried to give a fact based review and comparison. But I do care that you say "not sure how that wasn't mentioned here" bec I know what you're insinuating and you know that I try to be honest in everything I do. I think you've tried to do a couple videos before so you should have some insight into the difficulty that one may have on top of production quality and so on.

    • @michigangrownoutdoors7254
      @michigangrownoutdoors7254 Před rokem +1

      @@AERIALASSAULT1 I didn’t rant about the angle differences, I had seen some things online that had pointed some fingers toward a different CZcamsr… and I cheeped in on how he was treated but that’s about it.
      And I understand that a lot goes into these videos. Espicially the way you edit and post and bring some unique things to your stand. The editing is awesome for sure. But it’s a huge difference. They angle up just about the same (ish) and the lwcg stand angles down over double. About 2.5X of what XOP does. And that’s huge while mobile hunting. I just don’t get why people aren’t showing this in their videos… it’s like they’re scared to put all the hood and all the bad out there. But other than that great video. Would have like to see and hear how your feet sound in the traction. And then I also worry about the seat shelf. If you add weight to it you could flatten your threads from your seat bolt… and there goes your leveling system. And the bolt in the XOP stand is louder. Just some things I seen from afar.

    • @xopgear
      @xopgear Před rokem +1

      Maybe he didn’t mention it because it’s a worthless point. Many stands have ZERO leveling yet people think they are the best thing ever. You run around on every social media platform and run your motor about how great everything you are using at the time is and critique everything you don’t have. Makes a great name for yourself…..

    So I am new to hang on stands. When you get in stand I noticed you raised the platform with your foot, then back down. Do have to do that everything in get in stand or no?
    Is it a safety thing?

    • @AERIALASSAULT1
      @AERIALASSAULT1  Před 10 měsíci

      It's referred to as toe hooking a stand. It helps remove the slack from the strap. So you only do this when setting the stand. If you have a permanent set you'll only do it on initial setup. If you are carrying your stand in every morning or evening you'll do it every time you set the stand to Make sure it's properly set and the top bracket doesn't pull from the tree when standing on the platform
